I've know Bart for many years and I can't imagine him being rude or mistreating players. As for him recruiting the kid from Paintsville, you can't recruit the willing.....his mother and family tried to pawn him off on every team that Paintsville played last year. I have heard the same thing about mama. I know she wanted SVHS plus other schools to take him and Bart was the only FOOL that wanted him. I will agree with you about this. Yes I know uncle was on the baseball staff also heard he didn't get along with the coach. I'm not for sure so I will ask is he on the basketball staff now??????? I know Hunter was mad because an 8th grader C.D. took his starting position. Do you agree with Bart sitting the PHS player on the bench this summer while Hunter started and played every minute without being enrolled???????? This only helped Paintsville while PHS suffered. Do you agree with his mistreatment of a diabetic player which has resulted into an investigation????? Unless the parents back down the school may loose federal funding. Do you agree with him cursing and saying all kinds of insulting things to them. Example.......you should just go ahead and quit school all you're ever going to is make t-shirts like your dad. Well I got news for Bart that dad makes more money than Bart does printing t-shirts. Can you imagine an educator saying something like this to a student. He also told another player he needed to quit school and get a job.......this player didn't take his advise but went on to contribute to several programs Do you agree with him saying the varsity scrimmaged the Jr high which was against the KHSAA rules in order to say that had played enough games to be eligible to play in the state games..........by the way you know they got disqualified and was the talk of the state for this cheating. I could go on and on on other incidents but I have to go to work. I just wanted to highlights few incidents. By the way why do you think boys won't play for him? Take a look at summer ball. Even E.R. The best player on the team doesn't want to play for him but for the love of the game and his senior year he will. Maybe you don't know Bart as well as you think you do......just saying.

I do think alot of this negativity is juss straight up not liking bart and thats not right ive ways thought bart was a great man as well as a great ball coach, i juss think alot of you adults should step back and take a lokk at how your acting, i mean really do you think your being a good role model by acting so childish infront of these kids?

You Prickville Panthers, would`nt be satisfied if Calapari coached them kids!

I think you would change your mind if you had a child playing for him. Why do you think so many quit and he is having to do heavy recruiting. With the talent he had 2 years ago he should have won the region........he got out coached while he stood on the sidelines didn't really know what to do.....reminded me of a deer in front of headlights. He is not respected or effective as a coach. Why do you think they were going to fire him at the end of last season and he begged he would change. When they told him how many complaints against him he called everyone he thought would or could help him but I was told by the super if he didn't produce this would be his last year. Unless you have walked in the PHS players and parents shoes don't judge. Every team needs a good dose of Bart to appreciate their coach.

Ok just a point right out of your comment, "they were going to fire him" well look around they didnt, so obviously someone likes the job hes doing, cause if they wanted to fire him he would habe been fired no matter what kind of begging he did as you stated, so its all bs juss leave him alone if you hate him that bad take your child off the team let him ay for someone else.. I agree with Pond Creek Nation you rich whiney azzes wouldnt be satisfied if Calapari were the coach. So stfu already juss cause yu got a little money doesnt mean everything should go your way just because you dont like the coach doesnt mean he shouldnt coach. Some advice- take your silver spoon out your mouth and quit thinking life should go as you want and snap into reality before your children grow up to act like you......just saying

Why don't you ask him how he begged and pleaded when in was in the office!!!!!! Oh how he would do better and how he would change. Wish we had a video of that. He soon forgot his promises. Ask him!!!!! Many, many complaints were logged against him. He knows, ask him if he will tell the truth. I think more than one dislikes him just ask those 178 of 200 that voted. Dear Bart
Would you please keep your best friend Bryan Johnson and his son from coming over to Pike Hill. They have went as to even come and practice with us and Bryan wanted a job to bring his son up here. This is just not gossip but the truth check it out. Do you really think they would let him destroy our program like he has helped yours. Hell he beat the hell out of our feeder school and we really dont want him up on Pike Central hill. The next time he will be escorted to the road.

No sorry not a brown noser actually i was a student of his when he use to teach Algebra, but thats got nuttin to do with what i was saying, its just obvious you all think no one is good enough to coach at good ol phs but thats bs no matter who was coaching you all would have something to say about him, so barts coach right now so hes in the line of your gossip fires going around through out the parents of phs, so in short no matter whos in there you all will still think hes not good enough its bs how everything has to be the best of the best then you still complain so do everyone a favor and quit whining so damn much!!! Ugh

I have been looking on the different discussions for the post that someone posted that went something like this. Bart always opened the side door for one of the students when they were late. I think it told the exact year that student graduated but I am not sure other than it was several years ago. What happened to that post it must have been removed. Hmmmmm. Just wondering.

Be mad and hate all yu want, but bart was a good teacher and yes i was a student of his, and im doing really good for myself so he couldnt have been to bad a teacher huh? Im majoring criminal justice at UPIKE so yea i know what 2+2 would =. Not that i have to explain any of that to you, just seen this thread on here and as i read the comments i could tell that its just a bunch of parents that think no one is good enough to coach the great ol pikeville panthers which is bs, like my above post said yu all wouldnt be satisfied if Callipari were their coach..........
