Does anyone know of a good internet provider that offers only high speed internet and does not require you to have phone service to?? My friend wants internet out in the morgan fork area, but doesn't want to have to get phone because they have cell phones!!

And it's limited to a montley usage limit. Once you reach that limit, it slows down to basically slower than dialup. |

Thanks everyone for being helpful, so far my friend hasn't found a service that will offer highspeed in her area, time warner said no, but i gave her the scioto wireless info (Thanks WTF) and they hooked her up with earthlink, she should know something by noon!!!

That's terrible I get 27 mb!! Download speed and 7 upload!! Speed with time Warner I love it !

Mine's time warner as well, but this is through my wireless network.

I have had hughesnet for 2 yrs now and their service is out a lot. They are blaming it on my area and my modem that is their's. When I am on the phone with customer service, it usually requires at least an hour of my time and several transfers before they finally decide the problem is on their end. Not 100% happy with them and their prices are high. Once you use up your bandwidth, they do have a service where once a month you can reset the bandwidth without additional costs. I have found their speed is not the best. |
