Kidnapped? You can do the same thing I did. Check the wikipedia discussion page then research yourself. You're not dumb. Be sure to search Google Books too. This will get you started. Jury finds 'sex master' guilty: Man didn't rape or kidnap teen, jury says, but he did exploit her.[which was reversed] COPYRIGHT 2006 The News Tribune Byline: Karen Hucks Jun. 2--Jurors convict 48-year-old Stanley Scott Sadler of exploiting a teen by taking sexual photos of her, but find him not guilty of charges he kidnapped and raped her. The mandatory sentence is 10 years in prison. "Sex master" Stanley Scott Sadler didn't rape or kidnap a 14-year-old girl he was charged with victimizing, a jury concluded Thursday. But the jurors said the 48-year-old Fircrest postal worker did exploit her by taking sexual photos, and that means he'll go to prison for 10 years. The jury of 12 men and women -- all of whom declined to talk to The News Tribune after the verdict -- deliberated just over eight hours Wednesday and Thursday on the 38 charges Sadler faced. http://www.accessmylibrary.com/coms2/summary_... |

Judged: 1 1 1 It is only the interview they can't use. Everything he did before the police became involved is not tainted. Therefore the chats are still admissible and that is where the evidence lies along with him showing up. |

No argument here with that, but the prosecution seems to think it needed that confession which wasn't an actual confession anyway. |

How cute. My post 8806 disappeared. How do you guys do that?
Whatever. You're welcome on the links. Did you see this? http://books.google.com/books... After 3 years the Perverted Justice wikipedia page still claims Von Erck saved a kidnapped and raped child. As close as Perverted Justice follows its cases, Von Erck must know by now it is false, which strongly suggests the organization will slant evidence to its benefit. There is some evidence Von Erck knew then but didn't tell his followers the girl posted profiles at BDSM sites and claimed she was 19. They did not meet in a "chat room." The missing post was too generous. It is libel and defamation. |

Wolin lost a lot of credibility himself when he made that 45-minute drive. |

Judged: 2 2 1 Great link. I had no idea. Sure clears up a lot in my mind about that case. I first saw it when the girl and the mom was on the Montel Williams Show. So many unanswered questions. How can 8806 disappear? we are not that far along yet. |

So, will Staebell appeal the Appellate Court's ruling to the California Supreme Court as Berk did in her most recent appeal?
Although Staebell would prefer that Wolin's trial begins sooner rather than later, he has 2-1/2 months of down-time until the scheduled June 4 pre-trial conference. And although TCAP convictions almost never rely on the post-arrest interview, Staebell may be concerned about a backlash resulting from the violation of Wolin's Miranda rights. My money says Staebell will appeal to the Supes. |

HERE IT IS "EASIER" I think... http://publicdocs.medbd.ca.gov/pdl/Image.aspx I have it saved as a 'bookmark' dated 2006, it is 2009, and Wolin is still fighting it in court according to past posts that I remember: -wolins estranged wife has removed all his photos at her office -Wolin did find another job -It is affecting his health -he wears a toupe' -posted his profile on dating services lying about his name and age (desperate) -was on TMZ and someone posted a websight on wolins 'wife' in regards to property...I think. ALSO PUT THIS IN LAYMANS TERMS The District Attorney's office petitioned the appellate court to reverse a judge's ruling that the police used improper tactics that deprived Wolin of his Miranda rights. I guess that means, in Wolins case, they did something wrong, but not to the others who pleaded out, convicted and served there punishments....right?????????? Bob wrote: <quoted text> By the way, I looked into the Perverted Justice wikipedia page and Psycho appears to be referencing the libel/defamation in the Sadler case. That you all would ignore that is how the aptly named Perverted Justice rolls. That Von Erck did not save a kidnapped, raped and tortured child is understandably something Perverted Justice would rather not acknowledge even if it means maintaining false accusations. I think he should sue but he may not know about it. All I was just pointing out was what was on WIKIPEDIA .... & the content may change!!!!!!!! LETS POST THE FULL THING UP SHALL WE!!! Accused 'Dateline' doctor prevails in appeals court Posted:03/18/2009 4:21 PM << Back | Next >> A state appeals court Wednesday upheld a local judge’s ruling tossing out statements an East Bay cancer doctor made to police after he was arrested in a televised sex-predator sting in Petaluma in 2006. Sonoma County prosecutors had appealed Judge Arthur Andy Wick’s ruling that excluded statements Dr. Maurice Wolin made to Petaluma police during the arrest, booking process and interrogation. Wolin and 28 other men were arrested in August 2006 during a three-day sting Petaluma police and other agencies conducted in partnership with the TV show “Dateline NBC” and an advocacy group called Perverted Justice. The appeals court ruling lifts a stay on Sonoma County proceedings in the case, which was headed for trial when prosecutors appealed. Further hearings will likely be scheduled soon. Investigators believe Wolin arranged online to meet someone he thought was a 13-year-old girl for sexual purposes. Wolin acknowledges driving during the middle of the day from the Bay Area to the Petaluma home police had staked out and rigged with cameras for the sting. But he contends he wasn’t intending to have sex with the “girl,” who was actually an adult male decoy from the self-proclaimed vigilante group Perverted Justice. He is charged with attempted lewd conduct with a child, a felony that could mean as long as four years in prison if he is convicted. Wolin would also have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. He has been free on bail since shortly after his arrest. His state medical license has been suspended indefinitely. Wick’s December ruling didn’t exclude other prosecution evidence against Wolin, including sexually charged online chats and a TV recording showing Wolin arriving at the house, talking with a female decoy and being arrested after he apparently saw TV monitors and started to leave. Wolin also has challenged the accuracy and authenticity of the chats, which occurred over a four-day period and were given to Petaluma Police by Perverted Justice. The group’s founder describes the group as a vigilante organization dedicated to catching adults seeking minors online for sex. Perverted Justice provided all the computer and video equipment for the sting free of charge to Petaluma and was paid $140,000 by Dateline NBC for the two hours of television coverage the sting produced. KEY WORDS HERE Accused 'Dateline' doctor prevails in appeals court Accused 'Dateline' doctor prevails in appeals court Accused 'Dateline' doctor prevails in appeals court Accused 'Dateline' doctor prevails in appeals court ...But....notice: accuracy and authenticity of the chats... GRASPING AT STRAWS shall I say? I used to think...but the chats are disturbing. Also I would never do this: I couldnt get away with online sex chatting with a minor, go there, get out of the car, and tell her "you shouldnt be doing this..." and get away with it. |

In having (had) such a great job, Wolin probably saved his money in case he needed it one day when he decided to hit on an underage girl....if any of his past behavior is true.
Maybe his wife wouldnt engage in certian sexual acts with him. pre meditated http://www.hubdub.com/e/Market/Will_To_Catch_... For the past postings, wonder how many 'wolin is innocent' will throw this in our faces? http://www.periodicos.com.ar/ESTADOSUNIDOS/ca... Wolin had a great job & all that money 'in case he decided to hit on a 13 year old' HEY MAYBE THE MORAL OF THIS STORY SHOULD BE: IF YOU ARE APPROACHING 50 [Fifty],(you look like Wolin) AND A 13 YEAR OLD GIRL WANTS SEX FROM YOU.....THINK ABOUT IT. SHE MAY BE A DECOY!!! Because even if it was NOT a sting, would ANY 13 year old go for someone who looks like Wolin (unless they are paid maybe-because of something else I saw on tv years ago) I could see a 13 year old finding the other YOUNGER in there 20's cute, but it is still a crime!!! |
