Penny's was awesome.

A little bit further away but I've found that these places offer very similar pizzas with a sweeter sauce...

- Franzone's (Bridgeport)
- Charlie's Pizza (East Norriton)
- Mocchia's Train Stop - the upside down pizza (Schwenksville)

Ok...last night my family got the upside down pizza at Mocchia's on Maverick's suggestion. I have to say that although it is not identical to Penny's because of the cornmeal crust they used to have.....(sniff!),it is by far in my opinion the closest to Pennys that I personally have ever tried. I haven't tried Franzone's or Charlie's however.

I was a Penny's Pizza fan as well, and very much in the same boat in looking for another good pizza place.

One more place (and I know this is a haul) but if you're ever in the Delaware area, Grotto Pizza is excellent pizza. They are a small pizza chain that only operates in Delaware.

The closest to us is on Concord Pike (Rt. 202) right around the Concord Mall.

Palermo's in the Genuardi shopping center is very very good, but get it with xtra sauce. The mushroom with xtra sauce is awesome.
If you don't mind driving to Bridgeport, then go to Franzone's, they have the same sauce that Penny's used.........tastes sooo goood.

I believe Penny's is coming back. There is a sign in front of the building saying "guess who's coming back?" Loved their strombolis.

I read somewhere that Oct 1st at 3 pm is when they will be re-opening. I've never had it, but the fan base has me very excited to try it. Being a pizza lover, I can't wait to try it out

What is going on with Penny's? I tried to order pizza at 5:30 on Friday night & got their vm saying there are swamped and not taking orders until Sat. I called from 3-5pm on Sat & phone was busy. I called again today & the phone is busy. Do they only have 1 oven? Really how good can their pizza be?

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Virgo

If you've got an important task to accomplish, this is the time to do it. A Libra Moon ensures that you're level headed, focused and unmoved by the behaviour of others for the next day or so. Don't put any undue pressure on yourself, Virgo: if you don't get it right the first time, you know there'll be another chance. The pessimistic people that you are likely to encounter today need your logic and positive input.
