Phillipsburg woman gets 110 days in jail for stabbing roommate

Latasha's actions serve as a great model for her 5 children. I'm sure we'll be reading about them in the police blotter in 10 years thanks to her wonderful parenting.

How do you get 110 days for stabbing someone? I now a guy who got 2 years for punching someone and knocking them out.

He goes to jail for a year for drugs & she goes for JUST a few months for stabbing someone? Something is swry somewhere.

Oh, I've heard all about this nutcase. She's not capable of supporting herself or caring for her kids at all. She's another prime example of our tax dollars being wasted away. Don't get me wrong, I'm proud that we have services to help those in need, but there are some people like Ms. Athill that are as hopeless as they are helpless. Her kids need to be given to someone who will give them a future.

Unlike most of you anonymous people with aliases I've provided you with my REAL name and I personally know Ms Athill to be a wonderfully giving and loving mother the "Nutcase" The waste of tax dollars is her accuser Betty Jane Osburn who also accused someone of raping her and had the poor man arrested also and as with Ms Athill proceeded to steal everything in her home !! So before you open your mouth to believe what is said in the newspaper find out the WHOLE story. No one tells how she was confined for 3 months with no interpreter and no one to comunicate with before being required to choose released or 5 years prison WHAT WOULD YOU CHOOSE NOT KNOWING THE CONSEQUENSES ??? And you brought this up a year later WHY I ask? I should hope she has gotten on with her life by now you would think, Right?

You do know that they don't ask you whether you would like to stay in jail or go home, right?

I brought it up a year later "a little slow" because I just met her less than a year ago. "Snowman" this was not attempted murder you will hear more when the book comes out and "fatboy2" That was essentially how they put it to her OH DID I MENTION SHE IS DEAF !! and no one took the time to explain anything to her before removing her from her home on false charges ! You judgemental people will be ashamed when you learn the full story. Have mercy lest you need it also ...and you will..
