I just don't get it. they put on a uniform and think they can do whatever they want. and it seems like the community accepts it.

I am just glad someone had the nerve to put it all out there and show that's not what Loudon is about. Some people still have morals.

Isn't that a private matter? Is he a good chief?

It probably is a private matter but they are somewhat in the spotlight and it gives the town a bad name. good luck to the new chief

I think it would have been a private matter had he not been caught. What made it public was how many times he bosted about the different women and eventually the wrong person heard and had to take action. He got promoted to Chief because the last Chief was having an affair with one of the firefighters wives. They set the bar at that point. Errogance will get cha every time.

Capter 8 verse 7- So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

As we all know we all sin, but when other sin we like to place them on stage for us to cast stones at hoping that our peers forget about cast stones at us.

I agree we all sin and we will pay for those sins. the problem is the department looks bad and its like no one cares. how do you think that wife feels? it is destroying families not just in the fire dept, it just seems that everyone is ok with it because of their position.

Amen to 4 Real...what about the families that were destroyed. The chief's family and then the woman he was having an affair with, her husband has lost his wife and kids, his family. Not casting stones but when you are in the public eye and take on a position such as Chief or an elected offical you are held to a higher moral standard. Right or wrong, you are. Imagine how her husband felt when he had to break down his own bedroom door to see the Chief in the bedroom with his wife while his kids were playing in the living room. Imagine the devastation. Losing his title is more than fair of Fire Chief is more than fair!

You are right. The Loudon City Fire Department is laughed at. The other surrounding counties mock them. Sad because Loudon is such a great place to live and raise kids, so shame on those who bring shame on the town itself.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aquarius

You won't like it if you feel your wings are being clipped today. You want to do something in particular, only to discover that someone is objecting to your plans or that circumstances beyond your control are standing in your way. Although your instincts tell you to throw a tantrum to get your point across, you must ask yourself what this will achieve, and whether it will actually be self-defeating.
