Don't worry citizens. All law enforcement will get what is coming to them soon. When the people get tired of this garbage, and finally decide enough is enough, these big, bad troopers and other cops will take that uniform off and try to hide. Let them try. We know who they are. Let them talk big for now. They serve an evil master and have sided against the people. They will pay.
For too long we have heard that "most cops aren't bad". That line is dead. The first thing they should have done is put their own house in order. Now the good and the bad apples are all in the same barrel. When the revolt starts do you really believe joe six-pack is going to stop and ask if you are a good cop or a bad cop? No. He will use your shiny badge for a target. So will many others.
Your masters have brought this country to its knees but we are far from being beaten. Politicians, lawyers, judges, social workers, government workers and law enforcement have betrayed us all.
Talk to your congressman lately? I'm sure they're concerned about what you think. More men need to wake up to what is going on in this country. Do not be afraid. If they say you are racist, bigoted, backwoods, redneck or whatever it means nothing. MEN built this country and it is past time to take it back. "Experts" and "talking heads" on the idiot box have brainwashed you into a civilization that is not maintainable. Look around you. Open your eyes. This country is collapsing because of these experts. 98% of Americans were against the bank bailouts but did your government care? No. Why? Because it is not your government anymore.
How do you think it can be fixed? More laws? There are over 6 million statutes on the books. They still tell you that ignorance of the law is no excuse. Do you think there is a judge on this planet that can keep up with them? It is done deliberately to confuse you and to bleed you dry financially. How about a 7,000+ page tax code?
Wake up Americans. You are killing your children's future. Stop automatically giving the man with a suit and tie any respect. They are the real criminals. Respect the man that works and actually produces something. Not the scum that feed off the people.

A brilliant, eloquent rebuttal. Let me guess, you love having an "official" to tell you how to live. Much easier than having to be responsible for yourself.

I bought a vehicle from a local dealership in '03. One night not long after I had the vehicle I drove through a road block and got a ticket for window tint that was too dark. I had no idea because I bought it from the dealer that way, but I removed the tint from the windows. I then took it and presented it for inspection. I was told not to worry about the ticket it was taken care of. I haven't seen or heard anything about this ticket until recently. How do I prove that I took the tint off that vehicle when I don't own it anymore??

That's part of my problem. It has been so long ago I don't remember. I would have NEVER intentionally not taken care of a matter such as this. I was just younger and less educated so I failed to get proper documentation at the time of the incident. I am sure this situation is completely due to my error in judgement. I would just like to see how others feel and if they have any helpful suggestions.

That's right, 20 weeks of pain for a lifetime of pride! I'm a Mississippi State Trooper and I can tell you a lot of times the reason we don't run lights and siren is because of driver's that freak out and don't know what to do when they see an emergency vehicle. More times than a few, drivers simply stop in the middle of the road when they see those blue lights coming. If you don't believe me, ride with a Trooper, you'll see! It's a lot easier getting where you have to go without running your lights if you can help it.
Windows are blacked out because law enforcement vehicles are exempt from the tint law. It also provides us with a little bit of cover in case we are targeted by some individual that might want to cause us harm. Believe it or not, we have to wear a bullet proof vest to work everyday, because their are people out there would love to kill one of us. So while you guys are sitting back in your office chairs, complaining about how Troopers drive or that you got stopped and ticketed for driving fast, we'll be out there keeping YOUR highways safe from drunks, reckless drivers and drug runners. So feel free to criticize us as much as you want, we will still be out there, day in and day out, serving the public. By the way, I work Hwy 25, maybe I'll see you out there one day.
my hats off to ALL our law emforcement. nobody does their job 100% 100% of the time but at least all of don't have to put our lives on the line everyday for the sake of everyone's else's safety, even the one's who do nothing but bitch about how they think things could be done better. thanks to all our law enforcement and the jobs you do.

The trooper was disrespectful and I am not psychic. If laws are created, the citizens should be informed......if you can not understand what I am writing then dont respond. If I had known about the "move over law" to begin with, then I agree with you, I got busted, but it's not the case. I wonder what else I will get busted for because of new laws created and not informing the public.
Honestly do you even know if this law is new? did it ever cross your mind that maybe this law has been around for a while and you just never knew it existed? Now i know that i did not know about this law, but that doesn't mean that it's a new law. And maybe the public was informed and you missed it. Just because a new law isn't put in the papers doesn't mean it was told to the public. It could have come across on the various news channels for all we know. No one is perfect so no one can truly say that they always read the paper and that they always see the news. And with those two being our biggest sources of information, it's a viable option that you just missed it. And also, how was the officer disrespectful to you? I respect your opinion that he was disrespectful, but at the same time, it could have very well been a case where you were just upset you got pulled over and you had a feeling you would be getting a ticket and that did not set well with you and so you became grouchy and took everything the officer said to you as a disrespectful remark.

What is your problem? Do you think you can do a better job at being a state trooper than the ones that we have out there already? I know that i can't, and i have a feeling neither can you. Yes, it was his choice to become a trooper. He is putting his life on the line for us every time he steps into his car and goes on patrol. He doesn't know who is pulling over is dangerous or not usually. So he doesn't know if he is going to go home to his family. is it rare that something of that nature happens? yes, but it's happened before. He may not have my sympathy either, but i do respect him, because i'm not going out there to do that because that's just not who i am, but that doesn't give you any right to be that belligerent about his profession. What if someone decided to completely ridicule your profession? it would make you mad would it not? you say in a later reply to the person from brandon something about karma. maybe you should think about what you said.

and i'm not saying that the troopers out there are perfect. we all make mistakes. should they all drive 90 mph or faster? not unless they have a reason to. but we can only speculate on why they are speeding. we don't know what they are truly doing. and so what if they don't have their lights going every time when they are speeding past you? the mhp officer that posted earlier is right. you see lights in your rear view mirror or you hear the sirens and your first thought is where is coming from and how close is it and what do i do if that car is in my lane? the truth is, whether we admit it or not, is that not all of us react the way we should when the situation presents itself and we do freak out and sometimes completely freeze and have no idea what to do. so sometimes i would say that it is easier to just drive fast without sirens or lights. we don't have to agree on what goes on, but to a certain degree, we have to deal with it.
Thank You

Yall you knuckle heads out there complaining you are making it harder on the general public. MAybe oneday they will make it a law that when you get caught breaking the law instead of getting just a ticket you will be ordered out of your vechicle and made to do mountin climbers till we get tired. so got ahead and keep running your mouths because in the end it's what we say cause what you don't know that ticket is just a courtsy cause you are getting a break everytime you get a ticket cause you could have to go post a bond.

I know what you mean with this. My dad has been a State Trooper for 30 something years and I thanked God the day he got promoted to an office position and didn't have to be on the road anymore.

I'M 19 YEARS OLD and you "adults" sound absolutely ignorant. These men and women put their lives on the line for you every single day they put that uniform on. Not only the MHP but all officers in general. From the stories I've heard about their training before they even got CLOSE to wearing that uniform, you would understand why they are one step ahead of you on the road. Their radios are on 24/7, meaning I've watched MY FATHER get out of bed in the middle of the night responding to a many of bad wrecks. One day that could be one of your relatives in that wreck that these officers are getting out of bed and leaving their families at home worrying. Show them a little respect. Yes, I've had my share of tickets at 19 years old that has resulted in me having to sit in court and pay fines. And I've had a wreck (that was my fault) that resulted in the whole front of my car having to be taken apart and repaired. If a hot headed 19 year old girl can show respect for these troopers, I know you people who claim to be "adults" can show just as much respect as I do. Maybe you should try abiding by the law and you wouldn't get pulled over. Or better yet, use a little common since. For example, if you see a trooper or just a person for that matter standing on the side of the road, don't be an idiot. Slowing down and moving closer to the center line isn't the safest thing to do. Speeds of 35 miles an hour can knock someone off balance. So do you really think slowing down to 55mph is really going to do some good? No. It's not. Oh.. One more.. John C. It's not cool to threaten a cop. "They will pay." Seriously man? Come on now.. What are you REALLY going to do besides talk crap like you're an oh high and mighty intelligent one? Exactly. Nothing. You're stupid. Grow up people. That is all.

WOW! you know people really blow my mind, C30 amaing brother, I also am in LE, and am a Deputy Sheriff, and when the next trooper class becomes available have hopes of attending. BRO, it is so true that people freak out when they see the lights come flying up behind them and literally will make you kill yourself or them bc they stop in the middle of the road, so yah you dont run code to everything. It also happens that we get 10-25 off of calls on occasions.(for those of you non LE disregard) and so we slow down and go back to what we were doing. Brother you and all LE have the ultimate respect of me and will stand by you and other brothers no matter the situation. Paul Harvey said it about the police here is what he said:
Don't credit me with the mongrel prose: it has many parents-at least 420,000 of them: Policemen.
A Policeman is a composite of what all men are, mingling of a saint and sinner, dust and deity.
Gulled statistics wave the fan over the stinkers, underscore instances of dishonesty and brutality because they are "new". What they really mean is that they are exceptional, unusual, not commonplace.
Buried under the frost is the fact: Less than one-half of one percent of policemen misfit the uniform. That's a better average than you'd find among clergy!
What is a policeman made of? He, of all men, is once the most needed and the most unwanted. He's a strangely nameless creature who is "sir" to his face and "fuzz" to his back
He must be such a diplomat that he can settle differences between individuals so that each will think he won.
But...If the policeman is neat, he's conceited; if he's careless, he's a bum. If he's pleasant, he's flirting;if not, he's a grouch.
He must make an instant decision which would require months for a lawyer to make.
But...If he hurries, he's careless; if he's deliberate, he's lazy. He must be first to an accident and infallible with his diagnosis. He must be able to start breathing, stop bleeding, tie splints and, above all, be sure the victim goes home without a limp. Or expect to be sued.
The police officer must know every gun, draw on the run, and hit where it doesn't hurt.He must be able to whip two men twice his size and half his age without damaging his uniform and without being "brutal". If you hit him, he's a coward. If he hits you, he's a bully.
A policeman must know everything-and not tell. He must know where all the sin is and not partake.
A policeman must, from a single strand of hair, be able to describe the crime, the weapon and the criminal- and tell you where the criminal is hiding.
But...If he catches the criminal, he's lucky; if he doesn't, he's a dunce. If he gets promoted, he has political pull; if he doesn't, he's a dullard. The policeman must chase a bum lead to a dead-end, stake out ten nights to tag one witness who saw it happen-but refused to remember.
The policeman must be a minister, a social worker, a diplomat, a tough guy and a gentleman.
And, of course, he'd have to be genius....For he will have to feed a family on a policeman's salary.
We dont give free ice cream you know!! so sometimes were hated... but they need us, when we pull them from a flooded or burning car, when we put out fammiles and ourselves in danger. because for some crazy reason the world HATES the police
Thanks to all you guys who protect and SERVE

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Scorpio

It will be easy to let things get on top of you today, especially if you're already feeling rather tired and listless. Do yourself a favor and keep away from anyone who often makes you feel a bit fed up or defensive, because they're the last person you want to be around at the moment. They'll make your spirits sink down to your ankles in a flash, and who needs that?
