Somebody PLEASE run against our current board members. I've heard the current board refered to as the "do nothing" board, and I totally agree. The current town board has lied about their role in enforcing the Uniform Dwelling Code,(building codes) have ignored the fact that the current UDC inspector, Darin Pagel, refuses to enforce these laws in at leat one instance, have done nothing when asked for help to insure the health and safety of our family, and has, in my opinion, allowed the builder, Cornerstone Custom Builders to break the laws listed in the UDC. This board has not mentioned any of the legal procedings being taken against them or any of the certified letters sent to each town board member in any meetings. However they did request more money for new Christmas decorations. It appears that this same board is allowing Cornerstone to once again do whatever they want by not following the rules regarding setbacks. Of course I'm only going by what I've read in the minutes from the meetings and don't know all the facts. Take the time to read whats been going on at the site on Halberstadt Rd. It's time for someone to stand up and actually work for the people that pay the taxes in St Germain.
