Justice Dept. monitoring Wisconsin recall
'Army of lawyers' also in Badger state 'to protect' vote

WASHINGTON – The Justice Department announced today that it will monitor elections on June 5, 2012, in the following jurisdictions to ensure compliance with the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and other federal voting rights statutes: Alameda, Fresno and Riverside Counties, Calif.; Cibola and Sandoval Counties, N.M.; Shannon County, S.D.; and the city of Milwaukee.

What Is Obama Hiding?

Like a poet of one poem, Mr. Wilson is a statesman of one vision, an inspiring vision, but one which his own weakness kept him from realizing. His domestic achievements are not remarkable, his administration being one in which movements came to a head rather than one in which much was initiated. He might have cut the war short by two years and saved the world much havoc, if he had begun to fight when the Lusitania was sunk. Once in the war he saw his country small and himself large; he did not conceive of the nation as winning the war by sending millions of men to France; he saw himself as winning the war by talking across the Atlantic. At the Peace Conference he did not conceive of his country's winning the peace by the powerful position in which victory had left it; he saw himself as winning the peace by the hold he personally had upon the peoples of Europe. Like Napoleon, of whom Marshal Foch wrote recently, "Il oublia qu'un homme ne peut etre Dieu; qu'au-dessus de l' individu, il y a la nation," he forgot that man can not be God; that over and above the individual there is the nation.

I agree. In the battle of words on abortion a few pages back, the responses did not sound like a woman's point of view to me. Most women know how their bodies work. This AnnAgain - if it was a real women - was clueless.

Sounds like a regular, everyday moronic rightwing ramble based on misguided fantasies! Besides, the President is elected to serve the many not the few and knuckle-heads.
Can we quote you on that, knucklehead? lol Just your opinion. Nothing more. I've noticed and I'm sure all the other people you attempt to portray as knuckleheads have also noticed that you just can't seem to come back with any facts disputing the post you have deemed "moronic right-wing ramble". All you can do is call people names and you do anything and everything to avoid discussing the contents and facts presented by the other person posting. Did you not get the Obamoron memo? The Bush crutch is broken, the race card is void and the lame Obama blame game is void. Is it because of those reasons that you continuously call people little kiddie names and run from discussing facts? Do you have no idea how to be honest? Has it been that long, frank? lol
If the name of the poster was covered up and we had to guess who the post was from...your little one-line name calling posts would be guessed as wtf's posts. Pete and Repeat. I used to laugh at your inability to debate but now I'm feeling a little sorry for your foolish ass. I'm embarrassed for you. Anyone that strives to be more like wtf for ANY reason is not operating with a full set of functioning brain cells. It must be Bush's fault that all the Obamoron's seem to be having major meltdowns. Whatever you attempt to blame it on this time is alright with the rest of us. We still get to laugh at your silliness and your debating inadequacies. Good forum humor!

I read an article this morning about a group that is attempting to get more women to vote for democrats and it's called something like "Rock the Slut vote". Apparently it is the "brainchild" of democrat women who obviously listen to Rush Limbaugh much more than the rest of us do! lol
Rush called a woman a slut who spoke before politicians explaining why tax payers should foot the bill for her sexual conquests in life.(abortions, STD's, birth control, etc) It amazes me the power these women give to Rush Limbaugh's words. They keep him in the front and center and in the limelight. They feed off of him and hang on to his every word. Is Limbaugh a politician? Is he a government official? Does he head any political organization? What is the fascination these women have for Limbaugh? It's mind boggling!
These women are idiots and hypocrites and they, like our president, are hoping that citizens are STILL dumb enough to follow along. It's looks as though the president is very disappointed in his Obamorons this time around. Poor fella! lol
Where were these women and their concern for other females when Bill Mayer (yet another wannabe public figure with rock star status)called Sara Palin a cunt? Were there any protests or did millions of women step up and create a group called Rock the Cunt Club Vote? No. You didn't hear a peep outta those chics, did you? Bill Mayer is just an entertainer same as Limbaugh. Why didn't his gross name calling garner their attention? Why weren't they up in arms when the cunt guy gave much money to their president? Why, if so concerned about the way women are being treated by these men, did they not choose to have a voice when Bill Mayer, Obama's friend, called Palin a foul name?
Talking head democrat women are hoping we would be too dumb to notice the hypocrisy and banking on it that the other democrat women in the United States are STILL too dumb to think for themselves.
I am female. I have a brain and I use it. I've never been a slut or a cunt. I used to be a democrat. I am embarrassed about the lengths that democrat females will go to and the lies they are willing to tell to get Obama re-elected.
Why is it wrong for Limbaugh to call a woman a slut but not wrong for Bill Mayer to call Palin a cunt? How do you justify one and ridicule the other? You don't. You can't. You just keep on keeping the focus off of Obama's terrible record any way you can and pray that people are STILL happy just being dumb and gullible. Ignorance breeds ignorance.
And...
Why is it that the lame mainstream media reported Limbaugh's name calling stunt on every channel but if you wanted any info on Bill Mayer's stunt you had to dig and dig on the internet to find anything about it even though everybody was talking and laughing about it? Another hypocrisy but shhhh...things of which democrats are not allowed to speak about or acknowledge!

What exactly is wrong with wealth redistribution? Some old rich guy has alot of money just sitting in a bank somewhere collecting dust when it could be used by someone else and spent. Then it goes around the economy and people pay taxes on it as it passes through their hands to the next person.

Quit being a money hog and pass it along!

Okay I agree with you. I am a drug addict and never worked an honest day in my life. I suck the government dry by receiving every freebie offered to me and then some. I don't take responsibility for the children I brought into this world. The government supports me and it can damn well support my kids and their baby mama's too! Now, since we should all share in the wealth you better back up what you claim. I want what you have and I should, according to your theory, have exactly what you have even though I never worked for what you have. Please, to prove you really really believe, sign your home over to me and deposit your savings into my bank account and hand over the keys to your cars. My opinion, which is the only opinion that really matters, is that you are an old turd and your mind is collecting dust and I can make better use of your money than you ever could.

Prove that you believe. Give me everything you have because even you believe I deserve what you have worked for! I looooove socialism! Need my bank account number to get started?

It boggles the (right-wing) mind doesn’t’ it, it makes one wonder though, what would you say if Maher were to diss the left-wingers instead? Maher is a comedian travelling around the country appearing in comedy clubs or larger theater type venues. His trademark is in fact his bluntness (including vulgarities) and stinging political play on words and personalities (he calls himself a liberal heathen). Limbaugh, on the other hand, is a political commentator who hosts a show on OUR public airwaves, a standard of acceptable conduct is attached – it’s really not that hard to figure out, well - for most of us anyway! Then there is the issue of the ‘target’. Humor becomes bullying when it’s against someone less powerful than you. Maher went after Sarah Palin. Rush Limbaugh went after a law student. Besides, Bill Maher defended Limbaugh’s antics ...

The (not so) amusing Mr. Romney proposed that the Constitution be amended to require that all presidential candidates have a minimum of three years of business experience. Without this qualification, a candidate could not run for President. Romney boasted, quote: "I’d like to have a provision in the Constitution that, in addition to the age of the president, and the citizenship of the president and the birthplace of the president being set by the Constitution, I’d like it also to say that the president has to spend at least three years working in business before he could become president of the United States."
Had the Founding Fathers come up with this doozy of a provision, Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower would have been disqualified. There would have been no JFK and no Ronald Reagan. Even crazier, a look at the best presidents reveals that six out of the 10 top presidents had no business experience. Conversely, two of the worst presidents of the twentieth century, actually had business experience – Gdub and Hoover.

Don't be afraid to voice your opinions today, even if you suspect that they aren't what everyone is expecting to hear. It's important to speak your mind, and there's no need to worry about treading on anyone's toes or sounding outrageous because that isn't very likely at all. If you're talking to someone, your conversation may take an unconventional turn that you weren't expecting.
