why was this elderly woman with Alzheimers left at a doctor appointment alone?? Why was a family member not with her?? Having an elderly family member with alzheimers, we would never ever leave her alone at a doctor's or any other appointment. Alzheimers patients are known to wonder and anyone who has experience with someone suffering from this disease should know this. I will keep her in my thoughts and pray for her safe return home.
