I love how people complain about it. It's only bad because of the amount of drug seekers that are in Marion and come from the surrounding areas.

The wait times are horrible. Not because of the fault to the hospital or those who work there, but due to the fact that they have to see every single person that walks through that door with a toothache, and begs for Demerol.

Not only that, but the last time I had to go in there and be seen... there was a commitment that had been there for a week and a half.

So one of their rooms were tied up with a commitment.

It's turned into more of a pain clinic and psych ward than an emergency room.

That's so true Cooper Discovery, also people without money or insurance use the ER for all their medical needs. They can't be turned away because of no money or insurance. I have family that works in the ER, they have regular addicts come in every week seeking pain narcotics. It has actually become very scary for some of the health care workers when an addict "needs" a fix.

I hope the new CEO works out well for them.

We don't want the ER to be used as a general practice, but we also do not want any "socialized" healthcare....k.

Have u seen the prices there! If we had some socialized health care that would keep the prices down! Make some of these deadbeats buy health insurance. I am tired of paying for them! The free market works well in some things but not in health care!

Twisted: Obviously you are one of the deadbeats. I need to go for legitimate medical issues and don't because I can't afford to. I work and make good money but only have mediocre insurance . I can't qualify for any assistance because I actually work my ass off and while its not fair I have to pay so much of my medical I pick and choose when and if I go to dr and get medicine. Something deadbeats don't have to worry about because I pay for theirs too.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Leo

This is one of those days when money slips through your fingers in no time at all unless you're very vigilant about your spending habits. Unfortunately, it will be difficult to stop yourself splashing out whenever the fancy takes you, whether or not you can afford it. You're especially drawn to tempting little treats and luxurious indulgences.
