Merchants to paint the town pink

To show their support for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, merchants in Kimmswick will host a "Shop for the Cure" throughout the city on June 21.

I wonder how much of the proceeds the merchants donated from their sales to support the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure --- or was this another one of their typical ways of trying to bring shoppers into town so they can make money.
