Judged: 1 1 1 10%......*tax hike to pay for a 10%......*pay hike for a public sector union pig. Well.......... If the public sector union pig makes $60,000 a year the public sector union pig gets a $6,000 raise to pay for that $100 tax hike. .......... state workers pay for their insurance and property taxes too! |

Judged: 2 2 "PAY FREEZE" the whole time your butt buddy Rendel was in office while his fat azz had a $1,500.00 fkn daily food allowance. You'd never have the balls to call a state worker a union pig to their face. That we all know is true and give us comfort :) |

Judged: 2 2 1 EXACTLY! This girl is the master at copy/pasting and loves to call any worker that belongs to a union, a pig. This he/she spends more time on topix than any loser and union employees would work circles around this girlie. A jealous punkster, poser, loser that lives in California (lol) but has to rant about erie. pathetic. Big mouth from behind the monitor, little sister. |

Judged: 1 1 1 ********** First, unlike their counterparts in the private sector, government unions are largely free from market discipline. PRIVATE SECTOR UNIONS: Unions operating in the private economy know that there are limits to the demands they can make of an employer; private firms have to earn a profit to stay alive, and competition swiftly punishes those that fail to control cost and quality. If unions insist on too much, management may respond by substituting capital for labor or by closing a facility. At the bargaining table, both sides are aware that higher prices or inferior service can cause a company to lose sales, shed jobs, or even go out of business. PUBLIC SECTOR UNIONS: But public-sector unions face no such constraint. The government agencies they bargain with don't have to make a profit or retain customer loyalty; they can't go out of business or relocate to another state. And, of course, their revenue is acquired the old-fashioned way: through the compulsion of taxpayers. PUBLIC SECTOR UNION thugs cops, firefighters and teachers!!! http://www.jeffjacoby.com/8035/what-public-se ... |

Judged: 1 1 ********** You'd never have the balls to call a state worker a union pig to their face. ********** You can eat every part of a public union pig except the squeal! A public sector union pig roast is an outdoors summer celebration that can't be beat! How people all over the world are roasting public sector union pigs just like I do. This is the basic recipe & you can add to it to increase amount needed. This is for approximately a 300 lb (average weight)public sector union pig in it’s prime.(cops, fire, teachers) 1 3/4 oz cracked black pepper 1 1/2 oz minced garlic 3/4 oz garlic chips 12 oz minced onion 2 large fine chopped onion 1/2-cup paprika 5 cups kosher salt 1/8-cup onion salt 6 cups olive oil Mix all ingredients the day before & stir often. Lay out pig & rub generously inside & outside of pig. Any areas you can tuck in rub. Do it. Cook until deep parts of meat are 180 Deg. Pig-a-Palooza.......... public sector union pigs!!! |

And City of Erie just raised taxes 14%, so now add the new "value" to that? Are you f***ing kidding me?

Judged: 1 I agree it is F'en sickening. The Biden picture is disgusting but true. However I do not belive it is just the Dem's. Both parties are to hung up on their own power and provide only blind eyes to the plight of the taxpayer. I really don't know what can be done to stop this tax and spend shit at the local, state and federal levels. It has been going on way to long and contributes to the ruin of American society. Look at a retired person or couple living on a fixed income. They don't stand a damn chance. They are slave to high tax takes and unnecessary spending of the self-serving ass-holes that take office. U.S. middle class is not dying it is for the most part dead already. I think there should be a law that regulates increasing taxes atall government levels, but know it won't happen. |

Judged: 1 Regardless of the political position or wether someone is non-union or union. Everyone is in it for themselves. Being a democrat, republican, pro union or anti-union depends upon which side of the fence you are. There are those who walk the fence, but you do not see them post on here, they keep to themselves. |

The Assessment Office is juicing the taxpayers big-time. Assessment is conspiring with elected officials to raise property taxes by posting increased values on real estate. I know that Erie Area was not hit hard like other urban areas in housing devaluation but there is no way mine has jumped over $50,000 that quick. We will definitely appeal. The Conty notice said only that it would increase our COUNTY tax, like we don't know the other 2 sons of bitches: the School District and municipality (Millcreek in our case) will also use the increased values to add to their coffers. F-----UCKING UNBELIEVABLE balls they have in this economy. Vote out all the bastards.

The best part is that the defenders like Barry don't even own property:)

well, one issue, how did they establish the base rise in equity / Sniff, smell a big law suit coming!!

You want lower property taxes? Move on down to our neighborhood where the taxes are some of the lowest in the county. Well, not as low as some of the hillbilly rural areas but you get the added benefit of not having to drive a long distance to get your dope. Lower taxes and easier access to the dope you so desperately need, a win -win for you whitey. |
