It says in the article. "A number of people were detained and questioned but no arrests were made."
You know my wife used to let all the spiders run away before she would remove their webs and then she would wonder why the spiders webs came back so quick.
It sounds like local law enforcement is caught in the same circle of reasoning. I'm sure there's a lesson for both of them here.

Wait and see! I predict that when the dust settles and we learn the eventual outcome in court of these very expensive raids, we'll find 1) No conspiracy 2) Very few, if any, cases which rise to the level of normal Federal prosecution, 3)the rest of the cases dumped into the hands of the DA's of Mendocino and Humboldt County, 4) Many of these cases rejected for being obviously medical marijuana within the state's legal protection, 5) few if any of the remaining cases resultlng in convictions.
What we will also see are the dreams of owning some pleasant rural property that these folks had, destroyed, enormous stress and expense borne by the elderly and the ill, a bonanza for lawyers like me, and a huge waste of the resources of the counties involved.
We should hold to account any local law enforcement who were involved in these raids, as they have no business working with the Federal government against the interests of people acting legally within California's laws.

Measure B was not just a win over the out-of-county marijuana lobby; it was a win against all drug dealers, in and out of the county.
What these pot growers do more than get "sick" people stoned, more than get "pot heads" high, is make pot abundantly available in almost every school in the nation.
This isn't about medicine or letting a hand full of pot heads grow enough for themselves. This is about Mendocino supporting thousands of drug dealers that are mostly selling to kids and undermining the health and educations of millions of kids all across the country, and making collectively billions of dollars doing it.
Measure B was the first step in a ladder leading to getting pot and all drugs out of our schools.
This isn't over yet.

Watcher you are an idiot. This was a 2 year investigation and measure B had nothing to do with it. Also the supreme court(Kelley case) just over ruled your BS measure and the local law enforcement doesn't even know what is legal(ask them even). By the way your "kids are getting most of the pot" BS is false and baseless you idiot where is your proof.

When I expressed my concern over what pot from Mendocino County is doing to the minds and educations of countless kids across the country,
"just asking" responded
"Given that WATCHER is so obviously over the top and out of touch, why do you folks give him so much attention? It seems like his "solution" would be to jail everyone who has one bud in their possession."
I said nothing about jailing everyone who has one bud in their possession. I said that pot in all the schools of the country is seriously undermining education
These out of control drug dealers want us all to believe that there are no drugs in the schools. The responses given by the pot growers just prove how little the growers like "just asking" care about the truth or the health and educations of millions of kids. We are all forced to deal with the Craver / Allman legacy since the Mendocino Sheriffs Dept. chose not to do their job when it come to enforcing the drug laws or protecting the kids and the public.
We need to get Allman out of office and replace with someone that has the courage to enforce the laws and care about and the safety of kids and the public and not just about getting pay off from the drug dealers.
Allman will get on public radio to express his concern for using cell phones while driving but he does absolutely nothing when it come to the billions of dollars of illegal pot and the damage it doing to our kids.
Hay Allman, how much do the drug dealers pay you to look the other way and how much money do us non-growers have to pay to get you to care about us too?

I was traveling on hiway 162 headed toward Covelo late last night and kept seeing UHaul trucks and the like headed out. I wondered why so much traffic on a road that is usually pretty bare at night. This explains it. They're on the run.

Find a High school in the U.S. where you cant buy as much pot as you want. Find a Junior High school in the U.S. where you cant buy as much pot as you want. A kid can also buy all the pot they want in over half the Grade Schools in the nation. Ask any kid. Ask any cop. It takes alot of pot to fill all those schools. Mendocino is doing all it can to fill them all.

Major raids planned just off Mina Road outside town, and around the Bauer Ranch area. The fires delayed things a bit, but next week will see events that dwarf Humboldt in scale. Over 800 Federal agents amassed, especially looking at new "business owners" in the last two-three years.

Not to mention half or more of the Grade schools in the nation. How much pot does it take to make pot available in all those schools? Mendocino County alone grows around thirty billion dollars in pot per year.

Bullshit pot isnt undermining the kids education in this country its the kids that are dumb, and furthermore lets take out violent video games because kids get ciolent from them.. bullshit a kid should know the difference from right or wrong and let the parents teach them. I JUST GOT BACK FROM AMSTERDAM were pot is 100% legal and the Dutch are just fine. Its this stupid American mentality we have to get rid of when we dont like what others do ban it. Bite me im sick of simple things getting banned that doesnt hurt anyone else but me, if i want to be fried out of my gord the rest of my life thats my fucking decision and not big brothers or yours!!!!!!!!!!

Id like to see you shake on the floor all day like i do Amsterdam is over run by youth, mostly American, who went there just to walk around in a stoned stuper and then there’s the ones like you that come back here and think they know all about the problems of Amsterdam. The fact that you believe that pot helps your epilepsy just shows how stupid pot makes people. If the pot were helping you then you wouldn't be shaking on the floor all day. How much money do you make from selling pot and how many of your clients are under 18?
