Has anyone noticed anything that this cop has been doing or not doing for that matter?

I have seen him pull people over that was "running" from him and didnt have a license and he let them go didnt even give them a ticket!!!

An the point is!

the point is he should be doing his job instead of letting the drunk driving drug dealers go!!!!

He's only worried about if your sticker is out or stopping 4-wheelers. But we see drug heads that are in cars that are a hazzard to be on the road no ins. no drivers lic,and he never pulls them over.I dont under stand this towns law inf.The hard working man will get stoped for the littlest things and the druggies go on buy. We need big help hear.

I've been on Hendricks to get rid of the dopers that live around us for years....Nothing was done at all! I have long hair and a nickname to go with it, but this hippie is going vigulanty if the scared-ass law won't do anything. I can't believe we only have one law in town that won't do ----! And 2 more in the sheriff's department that won't either. OMG people lets get it together and get rid of these paycheck soaking idiots and find some real help for our community. whats the hold up? Surely most of you have kids to protect.........here's your chance to speak up.......start here!!!!!!!!!!

Do you really think that will work?? Its worth giving it a try. We really need something to be done around here I have even reported him before and nothing was done then. Maybe if we keep pushing the issue something will be done.

Yes call the task force,something will get done.As some of the law we have are just to damm lazy to do their job.

I heard that theres going to be a town meeting neighbor hood watch some time soon I will get back with the date. Some one told me all the police where going to be there. I will find out. We need to stand up for our town no one wants to say anything because they are afraid or knows nothing is going to happen. What will the police do when we shoot one of the druggies at our door. Then it will be us sitting in jail fr 20 years the working honest man has no rights. So lets fight back.I couldnt be a cop I'd end up chocking some body.

You people know the laws real well don't you? Just because you think or even know that someone is dealing doesn't give you or law enforcement the right to bust open their doors, enter their homes and arrest them. You have to have probable cause to have warrants issued and go from there. Hear say and gossip are not probable cause. You rocket scientists think law enforcement officials are not doing their jobs, this is not true. They are limited to what they can and cannot do. You have to have drug buys on these people before you can get warrants against them, are you all willing to go buy from them? If you are and if you can, contact law enforcement so it can be monitored and recorded and then warrants can be obtained and these shitheads arrested. You people sit back and complain about shit that you have no clue about....I am not a law enforcement officer and I know at least this much. Before you get on here and bitch about stuff you know nothing about, get your facts straight.

The law is responsible to get an undercover cop to get a drug buy on these people. I know. I have reported one myself and nothing was ever done about it. They told me someone had to be working the area before they could make a buy. Why don't they get somone to work the area. Are they afraid to do anything. I also suspect we had a sheriff years ago that sold marijuana along with some other people that lived near Peterstown.

They are not afraid to do anything, this is the way it works....An undercover officer normally cannot walk up to a dealer and make a buy. The dealer will not sell to people he/she does not know. So an undercover officer has to be introduced in or an informant (someone the dealer knows well) has to make the buys. The informants are usually someone that has pending charges that is willing to "work" and try to get a reduction in their sentence. Some people who are in trouble refuse to cooperate and will not work as an informant.
So it all comes down to this...officers are not "afraid" of these dealers, they have to have something to work with in order to get them stopped. Now some people will offer to work as informants themselves if they know the dealer and are tired to seeing him distribute drugs.
So that's how it works, when you call and report something, unless you know someone that is willing to go and "buy" from the dealer or the police have a working informant who can buy from the dealer, it makes it quite difficult to accomplish. It's not that they are not doing their jobs, that's just the way it is.
I am a concerned citizen like the rest of you, but you have to understand, it's not as easy as you may think. People sit back and criticize but do not want to do anything to help law enforcement other than call and "report" situations and complain about it when it can't be resolved overnight.
If you want it cleaned up, law enforcement will gladly work with you, come up with an informant that the dealer knows and trusts that will sell to and your half way there.
And I believe the officer's name is HEDRICK, not HEDRICKS.

You mean that all the neighbors have seen the deals go down can tell what day they sale the drugs because all the cars running to and from one place and they have been arrested four or five times and they still keep getting out and doing the same thing some thing is wrong hear. I had a cop tell me he would go though druggies garbage to get proof of drug dealings. If this meeting takes place we need to find some facts out. I think we all need to write to charleston.They need to build a big place for all the druggies and put them there and forbid them to see any body and have honest people working in the jail that wont get them drugs and leave there ass there until they are clean. Almost all crimes that happen are drug related and if we dont put a stop to it now it will get worse.I dont know half the people who you see walking around town where they have moved in here from but you can tell the druggies Iam afraid to let my kids do any thing ride bikes or anything.The druggies walk right though your land like its theres I sick of it.Iam going to get me a mean as dog.

Just in case somebody doesn't know the drug house is right across from the Post office in Peterstown. Where the old laundry mat was.

You are absolutely correct. I know where everydrug lot is in the county. I could help and I've tried but what law we have isn't the least bit interested

I have done that and they told me that they would send someone from our local force to take care of the problem.
