This is disgusting. These people basically steal 24 million dollars. No one knows where the money is. And they are looking at a 10 year sentance each. He11 they'll only spent at the most 5 years in prison.

They should do more time, they took money from older people who thought they would be taken care of, buried properly. now what happens to them? will the family have to start over and pay again?

I only hope that one day they are buried in one of their own cemeteries. Let's see how well their graves are taken care of!

The post isn't so dumb. The Nelms were big Republican contributors. They probably thought their Republican buddies would keep them out of trouble. They were wrong. The Republicans just want your money, not your friendship!

I live in Washington, IN and Gill Funeral home is the main mortuary in towm. Will they lock the doors? So happens they have a funeral today. If all assests and businesses are affected, will they be able to have it? what do you do with dear old dad when the your funeral home's owner is in prison. All I can say, Is this will have a major impact on the community, and the people that work there. Wow!!!

That is a far cry from money ending up in someones hands. Your last sentance is a perfect description of democrats. But then both paties pretty much stink.

I agree. Bush is too busy making billions off Haliburton.

They bought the company that runs the cemetaries, not the funeral homes. Shouldn't have any impact on the mortuary being able to hold funerals.

I wonder if the authorities know that the nearly $900,00 house Nelms bought was Jim Meyer's?

The house closed the same same day as the sale of the company. Nelms didn't waste time using the trust money did he?

She's lying! Here is going to be a prime example of wife turning on husband as if SHE knew nothing and she's the poor innocent victim. Anyone who ever worked for her or with her, knows the "Real Debbie" and she is just as deceitful as Robert.
She is as guilty as sin. They called me all the time trying to get me to prepay. She called trying to come to my home and talk.I finally told them I had made plans with my children to make Sure
I was not taken to their funeral home. I have lots at forest lawn but the service they provide for
funerals is disgusting...I just wish they would close
the doors of that place and let someome else maintain
the grounds.
