Clark County sheriff's deputy shot in face

Someone shot a Clark County sheriff's deputy overnight. It happened just before midnight in New Washington, that's in southern Indiana.

My prayers are with the deputy and his family. Domestic disputes are one of the most dangerous calls for police officers. These officers put their lives on the line daily to help others, and it seems like more and more people are commiting violent acts against the police. Again my prayers are with this officer and his family.

I'm praying also. I agree with you Lisa! Reading about police officers being shot scares me even more I'm married to one. Does anyone have an update on this officers status?
