Explains a LOT.
Why is some nebulous person from Indonesia defending MoWo? Was he part of your drug cartel or prostitution ring?

I read from the last page before this and I agree that grown men by nature are all child molesters by heart, only a few rarities that are actually pure-hearted and truly think that sex with minors are wrong and unethical
Some of you internet posters just won't admit to it, and probably never will, but I won't be surprised if I see you get in trouble for messing around with minors in the future.

Miggy; I think you are in the majority. There is some sick cinema out there - including Pretty Baby which warped Brook Shields to the point where she now sells Lazy Z Boy chairs. More importantly there are sick men out there like MoWo. In my opinion he had a tenuous grasp on reality and obviously crossed the line. I was in touch with the head of the company yesterday where all of us worked and we used to sit around the executive table and listen to MoWo rant on. Everyone would give each other the sideways glance. Interesting times.

Court overturns conviction in Craigslist sex sting
A panel of appellate court justices ruled there is “substantial evidence of entrapment” in Gregory Ruiz Aguirre’s case.
By VIK JOLLY / THE ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER
SANTA ANA – An appellate court has overturned the conviction of a man for responding to a bogus Craigslist ad by a Huntington Beach police officer posing as a 13-year-old girl.
The justices ruled there is "substantial evidence of entrapment" in the Aguirre case.
He was one of six men who responded to the Craigslist.org ad – part of an undercover sting operation targeting Internet child predators – by police posing as a 13-year-old girl saying she was looking to make $100.
In May 2010, an officer posted a message in the "Casual Encounters" section of the website. The title of the post read: "Hi wanta play with me 2nite — w4m (hb)," the appellate court's narrative of the incident says.
The body of the message stated: "I want to have fun and mke new friends." The term "w4m (hb)" was intended by the officer to convey the poster was a woman looking for a man in Huntington Beach. More than 100 people, including Aguirre, responded.
DID NOT BELIEVE SHE WAS 13
Aguirre admitted to officers "the female he was meeting had told him she was 13, he had agreed to pay her for sex, and he had brought condoms with him," but he also said "at least once during his interview that he did not think the woman in the photograph sent to him was really 13 years old."
The defendant denied having ever contacted other minors for sex. Police searches of Aguirre's computer and efforts to find other victims did not yield any child pornography, the justices said.
"The police lured defendant into an electronic conversation with Jess without providing any indication at the outset that she was underage ... The police quickly disclosed Jess was 13 years old once defendant contacted her, but in response to defendant's request for a picture of Jess, the police selected a photograph of an attractive and mature female body," the justices said.
"Jess" was first to use sexually explicit comments in responses to their first exchange and following the initial contact, she initiated electronic communication with Aguirre on four separate occasions, they said.
LACK OF ENTRAPMENT INSTRUCTION
In March 2011, jurors at the West Justice Center in Westminster deliberated a couple of hours before finding Aguirre guilty of three felonies, including going to meet a minor for a lewd purpose. He also was convicted of attempted lewd conduct with a minor under 14 and communicating with a minor for a lewd purpose.
Jensen sentenced Aguirre to five years formal probation with the condition a violation would automatically send him to four years in state prison. Aguirre was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life.
"Our analysis suggests the government should not be in the business of testing the will of law-abiding citizens with elaborate (if improbable) fantasies of sensuous teenagers desperate to engage in sexual acts with random middle-aged men," wrote appellate Justice Raymond Ikola, with Justices William Rylaarsdam and Richard Fybel concurring.
The lack of an entrapment instruction "was not harmless, as a more favorable result for defendant was reasonably probable" if it had been provided, the panel said.
"Entrapment is about the actions of the police, not the guilt of defendant," the ruling said.
"Our review of the record suggests a reasonable jury could find that the police conduct would illegitimately ensnare normally law-abiding individuals in an illegal conversation they would not have otherwise pursued," the justices said. "In sum, the jury might have believed the conduct of the police was likely to induce a normally law-abiding person to commit some or all of the charged crimes. We therefore reverse the judgment."

WRONG!
Penal Code section 31.
All persons concerned in the commission of a crime, whether it
be felony or misdemeanor, and whether they directly commit the act
constituting the offense, or aid and abet in its commission, or, not
being present, have advised and encouraged its commission, and all
persons counseling, advising, or encouraging children under the age
of fourteen years, or persons who are mentally incapacitated, to
commit any crime, or who, by fraud, contrivance, or force, occasion
the drunkenness of another for the purpose of causing him to commit
any crime, or who, by threats, menaces, command, or coercion, compel
another to commit any crime, are principals in any crime so
committed.
For some backgound, this section of the chat is after Wolin did not show up at the sting house, and so Xavier Von Erck intiates recontact. If you see any aiding and abetting, or any advising and encouraging, or any coerciion, then Von Erk is a principal to the crime of attempted child molestation. That would mean he is as guilty of atempted child molestation as Wolin was.

Well, I would say Pig Roast is indeed a chavanistic pig and there is no way a woman of her stature or age (most likely) would attract pedophiles. If she did then I congratulate her for attaining that status at age 13; however I doubt it. LLDY

I only read the unabridged version, so I don't know specific differences. I know that some scenes cut out for the original publication where put back in, such as the run-in with "The Kid". Frankly, I can see why that part was cut. It was kind of unnecessary.
It's been a madhouse around here this summer but I have figured out how to download your book onto my Nook (one reason I got it over a Kindle is a Nook supports more file formats). It'll be *much* easier for me to read it there than to try to get computer time. Looks interesting already, since it is what I thik is called "historical fiction"--real-life events as a backdrop for a story. I've liked that type of fiction since I was first exposed to it years ago. And with vacation coming up soon I'll get even more time.

LLDY,

It doesn't, but I'm using up my reserve of incorrectly labeled SPAM posts.

But hey, I just thought of something. Two of the characters that are left after most everyone's gone are a mid-thirties man and a 16 year old girl. Now, of course nothing really happens b/w them, but if MoWo read it, he could fill in his own sub-stories using his imagination!
