Police say Briggs was drunk and going twice the posted speed limit of 30 mph. The autopsy also revealed he had taken a prescription painkiller that had not been prescribed to him.

Someone tell the garbage that if you join the fire department, all sins past, present, and future will be forgiven. Starting to think the word "volunteer" means unprofessional redneck with criminal background.

If people do not know someone please do not go by 100% of what the Bennington-Liar New paper has to say. They word it the way they do to sell a lying paper. He was not a police officer Elmer. I will not defend anyone for drinking and driving. But what I will say. is Gavin had many friends and many family members who love him. If you didn't know him, Who are you to judge him?? Shame on you.

Shame on you. He was drunk and speeding when he caused that crash, sweetie. He was drunk. He was speeding. It was his fault entirely and he could have killed the woman he hit. No one should be glad he died, but maybe Team Briggs needs to mull over these FACTS and let the man rest rather make arseholes of themselves on the Internet.
