Do you all remember when skiing at DV was not like skiing in someone elses back yard? I miss those days and they'll never be back. Thank you development approval people. Your legacy shall live on for generations to come!

This headline is totally misleading. We, the lowly citizens, won't get a chance to see the horror!

I wonder when they'll be bankrupt. Look at the high end projects in Vegas sitting vacant half done.Look at Sky lodge on main, Promontory. Who can afford this stuff, who can get a mortgage to buy it.

I hope you are a gypsy, a bedouin, or a hunter-gatherer indian to make those kind of comments. NIMBY fool.

I can just see the Utes sitting around in their Wigwam saying,'remember when we used to be able hunt moose up there before the crazy white people starting strapping sticks to their feet and throwing themselves down the mountain?'

This construction is a monstrosity. And the worst thing about it, is that it is likely to go unsold given all the inventory in Deer Valley. Those of us who hike and ski (and even live) in the area will be left with an eyesore that will never get utilized.

Hopefully, unlike the St. Regis and Dakota Mountain Lodge, the Montage will recognize there is local talent to hire, rather than importing staff who know nothing about Park City and Deer Valley.

I'd bet the Utes did that very thing just as someday you too will reflect on changes which you will determine will have had a negative impact on your enjoyments in life.. Why heck, there may even be other people who would share the same sentiment as you.

But you're the fool if you take the bet.

The Montage is so gross and such an eyesore. Let me get this straight. I go skiing in Empire and stare at an office building. How relaxing. Lets throw an Applebee's up there. Oh, heck. How about a TGI Fridays.

Its aesthetically disgusting. Really sad.

You can thank the current city government and especially the mayor for the Montage. Just think what is going to happen to Treasury Hill if people vote them back into office.

Wouldn't be surprised but how would that work? You've got this building sitting there with a bunch of debt on it. Whoever holds the debt takes the building then what do they do with it?

a) shutter it and hope for better times
b) operate it and attempt to generate income
c) demo it and restore the land to its natural state
d) convert it to affordable housing

Have I missed any?
