Adoption.

I can't believe they were trying to sell a child for such petty cash. Not that I would even try to sell mine for any amount of money, but such a small amount!

If there is a GOD he will see to that some bleeding heart political nimbrod in Florida State Government DOES NOT give these two back that baby! As far as I am concerned they forfited their rights as parents when they offered the child up the first time at the bank. Which is another issue by it self!!! Why the hell didn't that idiot bank manager call Law Enforcement???? Why allow these creatures to move along somewhere else and attempt to sell this baby? and WHY was it a KID that called instead of one the Snobby Nose in the clouds Bank employees????? I hope they ALL have nightmares about what their lack of interest could have caused.

I agree the bank manager should have called the police. They don't deserve the child back EVER! I can't believe she was even given a BOND, the judge should have made it no bond.

How sad for this poor child.

I can't believe that a judge granted bail for either of them. You can pretty much get away with anything in Fl just post bond and your out on the streets free to do whatever. Makes me sick that they let them bond out at such a low cost for such a dispicable crime.

How sad for the baby, I would take it in a heartbeat. Those parent's don't deserve to get him or her back and they should not be allowed to produce more children. This is where mandatory sterilization should come into effect. Sick people that try to sell their newborn for their next fix or bottle of booze.

too bad the article doesn't talk about the why.

and i hope the govt figures out this kid needs to be anywhere but back home. EvEr.

all those want to adopt and have a hard time.. like kind loving singles or nice gay couples.
and then these people do this...

maybe they ought to be offered a 1000$ to give the baby up fro adoption

strike while the irons hot?.

You know I an not believe the ban did not call police. It took a teen group to have enough sense. I guess the bank was to busy for people. They are no better then the parents.

The bank did call the police. The police missed them, By the time the cops got there the couple moved on. And it wasn't a group of teens. The teen challenge is comprised of both adults and teens. It's a religious group.

DETAIN!!!!!!!!!! I am certain the adults in the BANK know what the hell that word means and DON'T even try and make up excuses for this bank manager or the employees ...had it been someone robbing the friggen bank they'd have detained them...but this was a screwed up young couple selling a baby...and the kids DETAINED the couple by making small talk and making them belive they would buy the child....

I won't make excuses for the tellers if the couple of morons went inside, but It appears they were outstide the bank in a parking lot. Now short of security, where have you seen bank employees canvassing there parking lots? I have never seen that. Had bank security seen the couple it would have been easy for them just to leave without further incident. My thought is, a customer of the bank was approached in the parking lot, was disgusted with the couple and told them they were calling the police. The bank employees may not have known anything then. After all there was no mention of the couple ever setting foot inside the bank.

You can check my theory further by rereading the story. What I have said makes sense and fits in with what the report has to say.

How crazy has this world become? God must be pretty sad, at the way our society is. This baby did nothing wrong, but to be born to these two misfits of society. God Bless this child, because now being put into the Florida Protective services, is another child abuse case waiting to happen. This baby is doomed before its life has almost begun. I live in Pa. and I have heard nothing but horror story about Florida and the way they handle their children. God keep your hand on this baby. May the parents get more than a slap on the hand. They deserve to spend some time in jail..If they could be sterilized that would be the ultimate gift to society, but since that can't happen, just do the baby some justice, and let those two rot in jail for a while.

Maghen Hallene Davala

We chose Ava because it’s the middle of my married last name,“dAVAla.” She’ll have my maiden last name, and I don’t want the name I chose with my husband. Ava Davala sounded good. Keagan O’Donnell sounds amazing.

I have an adorable wife of 32 yrs and four lovely daughters, all grown and gone.(See ---- GOD IS GOOD!)
It’s been a good week for the O’Donnell clan.
Our third daughter, Maghen, just finished delivering her first daughter. That makes Grandchild # 4 for us. Oh, how the time does fly!
I remember the rocking wooden cradle I made when Maghen was waiting to be born. And now, 25 years later, her baby is sleeping in that same cradle.

This story really saddens me. Especially since this child may be my granddaughter. My son was married to Maghen and in all likelihood, this is his child, not Ellingson's. I hope that these two receive the maximum penalty allowed under the law of man and God.
