Navy student shot in West Pensacola

The info about the Navy Student is attracting but no real insight.

Tyler Jefferson is my older cousin and use to live with me. Once She Left Texas to go to Pensacola Florida for her training I kept intouch with her on her myspace and texted her on her phone. It's just a shocker to me to know that somebody you was so close to get killed by a jerk.. What was the point of that?? She went to the navy to fight for our freedom and you bastards go off and kill her.. I dont think whoever you are even stopped to think what would happen if this was one of your family members.. She was a good cousin and I miss her dearly. I cry about itand it hurts so much but I know she is in a better place and I hope Tyler's shooters be brought to justice and once i see yall i can ask why?What was you thinking?

Adrie I am trying to find out how to send cards to her family please. My son was in her division during boot camp.

As a mother of a sailor who was in her division at boot camp I send my deepest sympathy.

She was in my brother division during bootcamp. We slept in the same compartment. After lights out she would still walk around with her big hair and come chill on my side of the compartment, with all of our friends. I could'nt believe it when I heard it, and I was so upset and so angry. But in the end, there's nothing we can do. We are all helpless when it comes to situations like this. All I can do is pray for her and her family. And pray that others don't have to go through what this family, and all of her friends are going through. R.I.P girl. I will always have you in my cruise book. Always have your picture, and always remember you as a fellow sailor and friend. God Bless You.
