My daughter Karina Carney Henderson is Molly's great granddaughter by marriage. Molly was an inspiration to Karina and our family. I was pleased to have known her and shared part of our life with her.

My mom told me her story. And often I feel very blessed to have been raised by a Maine Mother in the 1950's because they paid attention and used real women, with real stories as a way to teach us as young adolescent female, how to be both a life partner and our own person- a ripple that touches others long after we have sunk to the bottom of the pond.

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Libra

Don't try to do too much at once today or you'll disappear up you know what! You're all fingers and thumbs, accident-prone and things start breaking. It won't help if you're trying to concentrate at work and a certain chatterbox doesn't know when to shut up. Ask them to be quiet but try not to sound shrewish.
