Mass. police charge 4 with vets memorial vandalism

Now we finnally caught one. Now what?Give-em the kid glove treatment so everyone else can keep destroying cemetaries.Give-em a bleeding heart liberal judge.

Give these teenagers a good old fashion horse whipping.There is no excuse what they did ..They know better....And put their name in in the paper so everyone know their names .Stop babying kids they deserved to go jail....

Ok,I agree some kids today do get away with a lot. But jail? How about teach them a lesson by teaching them about our history and veterans? The very veterans they insulted with this ill behavior. Have them do some type of community service working with veterans etc., for a year or 2. Educate them. Jail? A bit to harsh in my opinion.But they do need the courts to make them accountable for their actions. Not just a probation sentence. But some hard work and probation.

Although this is Massachusetts. If this follows like anything else, they will probibly get more time than an assult case woud!

How about both of your suggestions, and make them physically help with the restoration.
If the lazy little buggers actually have to do some work, they might not like that, and decide it wasn't worth doing after all.

You really believe that? You have insulted all the vets who are now teachers, and all those teachers whose families include vets.

In the 1970's when I was in the navy there were several sailors I knew who were given the option of the military or jail and the navy wipped them into shape.Maybe the modern military can't kick your a_ss up to your ears like they used to do so maybe it wouldn't work today.

Well put.This state loves their laws so much,why not pass one to make teachers teach their respective subject,instead of their political views.

How about sending them over to Iraq for a few months to see a glimpse of what some of these veterans saw

Idle hands are a devils workshop,yep its true. Seriously though, I would definitely make these disrespectful little brats go out to the cemetery and clean some headstones with TOOTHBRUSHES, then I would make them do an essay on that person, ya know, relatives, where they worked, what they did with their spare time, etc., etc., then, when they finished all that I would make them congregate in front of a roomful of vets and make them apologize then, offer to be their yardslave for a weekend to each and every vet in there. And after that, if they still like to disrespect any vets, then, SEND THEM TO JAIL !

make them an example to others as to why not to do this! Those veterans fought for our freedom, even these dirt bags.
