Why exactly were they removed from you? The main goal of DHR is for the safty and well-being of the children. If parents would just take care of their children DHR would not have to get involved. Misunderstood wrote: <quoted text> they took my children in 09 i have had them back for a yr now. I found out shortly after them being taken my fathers new wife was abusing my 4 yr old son. They spoke to him and he admitted it but they still refused to remove them i had to call the judge amd tje montgomy office before they would remove them. Now explain how they r helping them. My son is still in counsiling and my daughter has behavoral problems at 3 now she was nine months when they removed her. Someone has to do somethimg

well since my last post I dont have my 8 year old home yet but i did take action against dhr in this county and i won. the judge was sickend by the laws they broke and the simple threats made by these workers the court hearings were to let the judge tell them how stupid they are and lift any services off my family. it was worth the 3,000 dollars. they no longer are apart of our lives and now i will be able to regain custody of my daughter after ten months of her living in awful situations. that has to be done in another county. he was able to get an emergency exparte order when dhr called to tell him i had perscribed meds in my system leagl but meds for anxiety. funny they still havnt told me his drug test results o thats right its against the law hippa rights of 1996 which we all had to sign dealing with dhr. i would like to find a way to get us all to bring these problems out but we are stronger in numbers with voices.

They are the same as all of us they can make mistakes. A judge and 3 lawyer from 2 counties involved in my case said they are only effective and helpful 85% of the time. They are needed and if the workers were better trained and higher education and better social communication skills the system would go along more smoothly.

I read that before i became involved with DHR someone burned their office down. Now arson isnt the answer to them if anything it was dangerous and unlawful, i agree. But the reason it was interesting to myself was it is painfully obvious that DHR isnt doing there jobs and I have to believe they pushed somebodys mama or daddy or granny to dang far. If they were treated like me by this office threats lies breaking the laws and putting fingers in the faces of their families yelling, that they claim to be helping. The person responsible is wrong for taking this into there own hands this way but, I honestly can see how they may had been pushed to the breaking point its sad and it is a problem nobody is concerned about. They arent worried until they come knocking on their door. I know I wasnt. Im a awsome mom wife sister daughter grandaughter niece friend. Im not lazy, no drugs no alchol we are clean and no abuse, but they still invaded our lives for a year. Even after being done with them i want to help other families that end up in the same situation.

u r out of your mind if u think dhr isnt corrupt. Do u relize that ny1 can call dhr & say nything & dhr will come to ur home, talk to ur kids, look thru ur things, threaten u, make u take drug tests & watever hoop they want u to jump thru! Som1 that my husband got in an argument with called them anonymously (the only reason we found was cuz he told us) & told them we had needles all in our yard, we were both drug addicts, we couldnt provide diapers 4 our infant, the house was unlivable, & that there was poop all over walls. Guess wat? We dont even hav an imfant! Our kids r 7 & 9!!! So u would think she sees that our house is spotless, no needles nywhere & o yea we dont evn have a infant! That would b it right? Nope. She told us each case worker had a quota to fill. They had to hav a certain amount of removals, safety plans, etc. meanwhile a few citys over young kids r being shot at evryday b/c there 16 y/o fathers wanna sell drugs & b in gangs those kids dont get taken, u wanna no y? Cuz there parents cant afford thousands of $ 4 drug court & child support fees. Cuz wen they take ur kids to these horrible foster homes there gonna make u pay 4 ur child 2 b sexually, verbally & physically abused!! So shut ur mouth & get UR facts str8 b4 u open it again cuz karmas a bitch & 1 day u just might piss off the wrong person & boom ur kids gone just like that! Issues wrote: Its amazing to me how many parents are complaining about paying child support. HELLO! You are their parents, you should! It takes much more than what you are paying in child support to fully raise a child. You parents get off easy by just paying child support. DHR makes does not make amount decisions for child support....talk to your judges. And if you want to sue, then sue. Its called getting an atorney. You know why you wont be able to find one? Because your story is bogus, and once it gets investigated, the truth will come out about how non-compliant you are and a poor excuse as a parent. People, make better decisions. Have children with people who can take care of children. While in custody, children have everything paid for...from transportation, therapy, food, shelter, extra activities, clothing, and medical. If you think your 500.00 does that, you are sadly mistaken. For every child in custody, dhr pays twice that daily. Not to mention if the child is in a group home. Know your facts people, before you get to typing.
