Honey Grove VFW

What do ya'll think about the new VFW?

The building itself is a huge improvement from the old building.

The new Dub is great. The building is not only newer and bigger, but it is just nicer all around.

We have some good Karoker's(?) going on....and drunks.which make some good Karoker's(?)

I'd like to thank the VFW in Honey Grove for helping the 9-10 yr old boys Dixie Baseball Team on Sat.July 4,2009.We will be going to State on July 11.The Men,Ladies and Auction raised 1300.00

Why cant you people that the V.F.W. be nice to people.All are the ones that are the biggist ones that talks about people in this town cause all yal do is set around and get druck and talk about every one in this DAM TOWN.....

The new VFW is a great place to be. It has carried on the traditon of helping out the community. They have held benefits for several causes helping the residents. When help is needed they have not turned anyone away. They have raised money for kids, the elderly, as well as anyone that has asked for help. The Ladies Auxiliary serves lunches to raise money for the Bonham VS which is a great help to Veterans. It is also a great place to hang out and have fun close to home. They have good bands, good karaoke and just good clean fun.
There have been a few (and only a few!) incidents where there has been a fight but always involving the same 63 yr old man that has a bad temper and believes he's above everyone and everything. But as far as people sitting around talking bad about other people, that happens in every small town & in every business. Gossip is gossip and will not stop in a small town. It can be easily over looked and should be! I love the new VFW and have had only good experiences there!

u r correct, Ron is that old man that loves to start the drama and fights and his crooked butt should be kicked out of this town!!!!!!!

i like the new dub, have good times there, and i know the gossip goes on in any bar, who cares! lol

i got out there for the pool tournaments and this last week RON started a fight with an elderly man! someone kick his butt! but other than that i like it, love the tourneys and the weekend events too

pool player you nor anyone can say how that fight was started it was in a closed office! They both were wrong they are grown men who need to stop all the drama! they both are at fault they are the leaders of the VFW. as far as elderly i do believe they are around the same age. Its folks like you that keep drama going too. Sometimes its best to keep your opinions to yourself unless you have facts to back up what you are saying!!

Everyone needs to get off the fight! Big deal, sh*t happens! The original question was how do you like the new VFW, not about fights or old people or even sittin around talking about people!

if u dont like it dont go there. its all we have. and we raise alot of money and the community.. some of the benifits have raised over $5000.00 for one person who had cancer.
we not just drunks!!!! we have a purpose......
