Looking for new AD?

Okay I was informed by my child that all the kids are going to the school tomorrow to because the school board is looking at firing coach hinjosa for the mavericks terrible football season so we are looking at having a new AD and coaching staff!!

does not surprise me, parent. The question/s that should be asked is/are; a) are sports overly important and take priority over getting the district out of low performing?, b) don't the administration /board understand what damage they are doing to the athletic program by switching ADs like they switch calzones? How ADs have been there in the last 15 years?. c)who thinks they can find a "good" AD in the middle of January?, d)is this a board, high school adminsitration, or superintendent idea?

Or, whose kid was not played enough?????

It's sad that they are so concerned about the Athletic program,but don't seem to be concerned about being academically unacceptable.I think there are more important issues to deal with.But no they have their own agenda and tend to make decisions for personal reasons,not professional reasons. And did they really think that the AD was going to come in and fix things from one day to the next? He hasn't even been here a year.Would it be possible for them to keep an AD for a full school year or is that way to much to ask for? Give somebody a chance to fix things, an honest chance.You would think that with all the educated people on the school board, that atleast one of them would make an educated decision. What was I thinking that would be to much to ask for. Oh, by the way it's school board appreciation month. What a joke!!!

If those idiots get rid of another AD then we need to vote their dumb asses off the board the next time they run. They have kids that can't play worth a crap and then get mad because they put somebody else before them. I bet one of them has a relative they want to give the job to. They are such a cliche.

Leave it to the pearsall school board to screw over our kids once again = Oritz, Wilson, Maple, Cantu and now Hinojosa. I guess people on the school board don't give a crap about what this is doing to our kids.

They don't care about what they are doing to the kids. They care about their own kids and relatives, but screw everyone else. When is the next school board election and who is up for re-election??

Randy Graf would be a fool to come to Pearsall.I know many people would love to have him. But,one wrong move and the board would just get rid of him also. Anybody would be a fool to take that job after seeing the way they have treated the past several ADs. They just toss them out like garbage.

Bottom line is this school board blows! I can't believe what they are doing to these coaches. Vote these idiots out already

Roland Segovia needs to keep on dreaming...Graf won't leave Hondo for Pearsall. Pearsall has the crappiest reputation of trying to control the coaches...and this just proves it. School board is a joke!

Heard one of the board members has been after Hinojosa since his "mijo" wasnt hired. So now all of the kids have to suffer because of it! Vote them all out - they don't care about the students just themselved.

I heard that the same board member promised to help a guy running for constable Pct.2 win the election if his wife helps him get rid of the AD. The usual corruption running rampant in pearsall.
Don't these people care about the kids. They should leave the AD alone and let him finish building the a successful athletic program for our boy and girl athletes.

This sounds like something our school board would do. They think they are invincible and I guess they are. Really who do they have to answer to? The public votes them in, but once they have that seat they could care less about what the public thinks.

So now our kids have to start all over again with someone new becasue of this political bull. Pathetic self interested school board members that don't care about my kids.

How about they just get rid of the athletics dept and that will take care of the AD problem all the school board is doing ruining these poor choaches reputation. It sure doesn't make their resumed look to pretty. Get rid of the athletics dept and no need to worry in finding a AD.

You all should "Occupy PISD" at the next board meeting and demand answers from the Supt. What a shame, ruining another career in the middle of the school year!! Did the board think about where this guy is going find an AD at this time of the year???

Premont ISD just did away with their athletic department this week!

How many coaches has our wonderful school board f*$#ed over in the past ten years? And the only one's paying for it is our kids.

Make the kids suffer for dumb desicions made by school board. VOTE EVERY SINGLE ONE ON SCHOOL BOARD OUT GET A WHOLE NEW SCHOOL BOARD. Remember all them that are there now and when elections come around bring this up. See what bs lye they will say
