Child support

What I don't understand is how someone can collect CS and not use it on their children. They're able rock new clothing/shoes every weekend to the bars or dances but have their kids running around in shoes that are too small in size, high-water pants and stained t-shirts to school. Yes, children get dirty and grow quickly. It's understandable TO A POINT but for it to be an ongoing thing is disturbing! I believe that whomever collects the CS should show proof of how they're spending the money. And it should be used for the childrens' necessities only.(clothing, shoes, pampers, wipes, daycare, stain remover, an occassional happy meal,*college fund* etc.) They shouldn't pocket it for their weekend partying use. This isn't in every case but it is frequent that I see this. It's saddening.

its embarassing when u r at the store and all u see is Mothers paying for beer, cigarettes, and condoms with a child support card! But like i said just like there is dead beat fathers there's also dead low life mothers....my opinion if the Dad is sending CS, then u do u think is the dead beat parent?

Child support is good when filing ur W-2 form. Earned Income comes into play. What a rip off.

Just got on here to say I didn't start this topic but I did respond a couple of times and am now cmng bk on here to apologize, hadn't received money for my child in over a year so had pretty much givin up, checked the status of my case and my son has money!!! I was with my man for ten years then he just leave me and my kids I don't put him on this but he never even comes by to see them or not even a call some guy just don't get it s

well there s mothers that get child support but yet he child is always w/the the dads family oh but shes all happy cause she has mone buy beer n go out ,but cant even take him to the doctor always has the same clothes the dad bought ,but ,she brings him cause she works ,yet the dad woks ,stepmom works, whos spending the money? mommy ,if tha kid is w/her 6days out of the month its too much for her
