So if someone was to start a little group consisting of stay-at-home, drama free, happily married mothers only, in the area would it be of interest to any such women?? Gatherings to swap recipes, talk about books, or local & national gossip (cause we have no drama of our own), ways we spend time at home, talk about life as we know it, parenting issues and tips. Or doing gatherings where we enjoy fellow mothers company, have a few daquaries or margaritas, and some desserts maybe a fitting chick flick.
Does this sound of interest to any one out there??
I like

No, drama! If there is gossip, there is drama. Who are you going to talk about? Working moms?

National gossip, do you know what that is? Not small town gossip....get it? Next time you might want to sit and really think before jumping to conclusions. Also, some people could really careless about who or what in this town. Some things are more interesting like "national gossip". Don't flatter yourself working mom- everyone can work, some of us don't have to by choice, and it's not cause of welfare.

Well you did post "local and national" gossip. The group idea has merits. Maybe one of you will bring up charity work, instead of idle gossip, to discuss. Good luck.

Well it's obvious and expecting that there would be negative feed-back.
As for local gossip, who doesn't bring up the occasional, scandal or my neighbor sleeping with the milk-man. LOL.
I'm a happily married woman who stays home with her son because my husband is a hard working man who prefers things this way. I know no one local except a few in laws, but aren't close. This group would simply be for like minded individuals who want some decent conversation without someone getting all defensive or DRAMA-tic over simple opinion.
I knew a few ladies before and used to get together for a "girls-night" in which our husbands would keep the kids at another home together. This girls night didn't consist of going out on the town and getting wasted. We simply met at my home, had drinks, watched movies, caught up & enjoyed pizza.(the group disintegrated over time due to family separations and well.... Drama) this is why I'm looking for HAPPILY MARRIED, DRAMA FREE, mothers nthe stay at home part just allows for common interests and easy to meet schedules.
Now, on the happily married part, all marriages have their share of problems- granted, but there is a difference from, we can't agree on how to discipline the children together and OMG- HE'S HAVING AN AFFAIR AND SHE'S A WHORE AND IM GONNA KICK HER A$$.
We would talk about issues as common women but let's try and all be in the same situations so we can all know where te other lady is coming from and be supportive to each other as grown, respectable, just having a good time ladies.:-)
So who wants to talk about Katie & Tom's divorce? Or who read that 50 shades of grey book and who wants a margarita while we swap gossip magazines and recipes? Any suggestions for a nice dinner I can make on my anniversary? Or how about an idea on how to try new things with the hubby??-ok that one was a little much, but the point is- who knows what common interests woman can talk about or have a problem with and just want others input or opinion on!?
Let me know LADIES!
Maybe we can set up a lunch date or have an evening together to Meet everyone and get this thing rolling!!
Really

Exactly, the post did say "local and national" gossip. Maybe, local and national current events would have been a better choice of words.

Really, you didn't sound too positive from the get go. Why exclude working mothers from your group if you hold your meetings in the evenings. Some women also choose to work even if they have a hard-working husband that support them. How would you know I am a working mom or even a woman!

Then they should both leave if they cannot be civil and enjoy each others company.

Daily Horoscope for June 17

Pisces

You're feeling much more cheerful and upbeat today, which comes as a relief after all your recent difficulties. You're also thinking along very inventive lines, which is great if you're trying to come up with a clever new solution to an old problem because you might manage to crack it. Even if you don't solve the entire quandary you'll get halfway there at least.
