George W. Hadeler III, 72, formerly of Pearl River, passed away July 5. Hadeler settled in Pearl River after serving in the Air Force and worked in the family hardware business until he retired to Virginia in 2000.

Mr. Hadeler served as secretary for the SAVE THE MONTAGNARDS FOUNDATION(STMP) for many years helping the Montagnard people, victims of past and current genocidal action in Vietnam,some of whom escaped to freedom in America thanks to people like Mr. Hadeler.
