Read the whole story before you post in the future Mr. Cocky Crotch. Before you post again I hope the fleas of 1,000 camels infest your armpits.

Yes, because all Vets carry around guns and defend people. I'm sure some do, but they're not IN the military any more, are they? If I saved your life, I wouldn't expect you to thank me. It's common courtesy. The difference is that the military are more at risk, and are suppose to be fighting for our country. Petsound said he believes THEY should get a tax break. He's not heartless; he's opinionated, just like you.

Vets do not expect a thank you and if you think that you have read somenthing into the conversation that is not there. Petsound has no appreciation for what petsound has or how it has been obtained. A good stint in Afganistan for about 12 months would cause a considerable attitude change for this person. I hope they re-institute the draft.

Are you stupid? Who cares! The bill passed. Petsound is entitled to his opinion, even if you don't agree with it. He could have served, or he could be disabled himself and not able to enlist. Have you ever considered that? No. You just want to be a DOUCHE BAG!

I'm a vet and get reduced everything but it cost me my sanity, I can hardly keep a job. I scared the shrink so bad she threw me out and then sent me some kind of goofballs. But they did me good these 30 years reduced rate cannot beat it,

Thank you, but those were the days when, at high school graduation, would tell how many would go to Vietnam or southeast Asia and get snuffed, some did some didn't. Those were draft days. with the coming advent of socialism, the all volunteer army is going to have to up its intelligence because they just do not fight hand to hand much anymore. For instance I fought with a junky overused handgun and bought my rounds "downtown" because we had to account for them, ergo, a knife, slap flares or some improvised devises. My son, who was a sniper in most of the countries our country went and bullied and picked a fight with used a rifle that he could make a hit 6 football fields in length, my father was in Dachau. Times are different, the cost of major medical will have to be absorbed by the taxpayer in one way or the other. Therefore, it seems better for us to mind our business and leave others alone, like why are we still in Germany? what was the Iraq war for, and Afghanistan? All the dead, All the wounded, here we sit most of the unskilled labor without work, seems to me something is coming around the bend and it is not going to be nice either. I would not be surprised that they start putting hard restriction on the ownership of guns and especially ammunition. Then, like sheep, we would do as commanded by the czar. My best advise is, watch your daughter, so she doesn't marry some deadbeat and get pregnant, keep her in school, and not some school for art appreciation, where she will get no job, do not let her date some cretin, there are cretins aplenty out there looking to use and abuse the gentle at heart and mind. Watch your son, so he doesn't impregnate some trash and get himself stuck in meritocracy. Lastly, keep your ammo dry and pray.

We all deserve the right to our opinions, that is what this is here for, we all have a vote, Petsmart is indeed entitled to an opinion, so are you. But be perpared to pay the consequences. Even I deserve an opinion, I sleep with a gun, sometimes two, sleep lightly and have the house camera ed. For what.

I would gladly support people IN service having their taxes exempted, but not ones OUT of service. I seriously doubt that any veteran including my fellow Marines I served with in Nam (including those that were lucky enough to get out of there alive in one piece or maimed for life either mentally or physically) would have any interest whatsoever having their asses kissed by you. Feel fortunate you have the freedom to vote in whatever way you see fit. Instead of concerning yourself with "kissing veteran's asses" you may want to consider thanking them.

Well, I was there and the weed was good, the women were easy and thought all "round eye" men were handsome. even without their teeth. I used to eat the bananas in the jungle and wait for some fellows coming down the lane and then have a dance. some times we would dance until in the morning, the funny thing though, they would do like ants and pick up their dead when they could. Hitting the villages was different. The smell of napalm was awful. then they squirted this exfolliant around to kill the vegetation so we could see better. After a joint, I could see pretty good and then they had these little white pills they gave out that made your hair stand up, you weren't scared of nothing. it was weird. I always wondered why I was sent there right out of high school. probably because I was truant alot and all the nice girls were taken. Darn, I should have said gals.

I don't want anyone kissing my ass either Did I tell you I served in the nam with marines? Some of those guys got killed (did you know that?). We are not interested in you kissing our ass but won't hesitate to allow you to feel fortunate for your voting rights, and please don't infer I'm saying I am responsible for you having those rights cause I'm not trying to boost my comment board ego here or have my ass kissed. But please know that I served, and to steal the words of Jack Nickolson, just consider thanking me.
