that "club" has been in the news a lot in the past, shootings, violence, drugs, prostitution. it is a haven for thugs ,drug dealers and "gangstas" and needs to be closed, PERMANENTLY.. no good has ever happened there. it's at an area that offers easy and quick access from I-26 as well as 176 and hwy 34 which are major traffic routes, it's nothing but a trouble spot, sad that there have been lives lost and innocent people caught up in nothing more than a meeting place for trouble.

The number one killer of Black men in America is Black Men. What happened to the days when people fought over disagreements? We have created a fantasy gansta, rapper, nba star, culture for our children. Ask most black teens there ambition in life and it is the thug, drug dealer, etc. type people that they idolize. I blame this on the 30-40 year old Black parents in America. Teach your children class, character, honesty, hard work, etc. There are all kind of opportunities for young black kids today. So most are not forced in to this life style, it's a choice they make!!

you say,"we" have created the fantasy, please use that term "we" loosely, as most parents try to teach their kids to get along with others and make the right choices. i agree they are not forced into this lifestyle, but maybe it is a lifestyle they grew up in,, our kids copy and mirror what they see and the way the are raised. teach a child to love, they will love, teach a child to be violent and hate and do drugs,, well, need i say more?

and you say what happened to the time when people "fought" over disagreements, what's the matter with a disagreement being discussed and resolved without fighting, shooting and violence?

It's news because a man lost his life - and no matter how many more men lose their lives, it will still be news. Have you stopped by the Omaha mall forum where the guy decided to kill innocent people because his life sucked?

If something like this happens to you, it deserves to be in the news too -- despite the fact that you don't think another person's life is worthy of the webspace.

i think the investigation/investigators needs to look at if the owner of the "club" is getting a kick-back from the thugs, gangstas, drug dealers, prostitutes and others, to allow this kind of stuff to continue.

I agree with you 100%. What should be in the news more often is these child molestors... I am still curious to know why WLTX/TOPIC did not post ole boy ROBERT's story.

If you are an African-American and a parent, then YOU cannot separate yourself from what he typed! While I disagree with resolving issues w/violence, I do blame the 30-40yo parents...'We' have allowed our kids to create a culture that resolves issues w/guns and violence...You and I can teach our kid(s) different, but at the end of the day (if you are African-American) this is still OUR issue!

Daily Horoscope for December 17

Sagittarius

It's time to assess your Christmas preparations. Have you written and posted all your cards? If not, get cracking now while you're in the mood to get them all out of the way. You'll also enjoy a quick trip around the shops to see what's on offer and tick off a few more items on that long list of yours. If you're stuck for a present for someone, maybe you could find a book that they'd like.
