Info wanted - Organ store at the old North Shore Shopping Center

I am trying to get info about the organ store that used to be at the old North Shore Shopping center in Peabody.

I remember the store back in the 70's maybe 60's. When I was a kid whenever I went to the shopping center with my parents my mother would always stop at the store and listen to the guy ply the organ. She would always hint to me about taking organ lessons. I wasn't having any part of it lol.

I played the sax when I was younger and a little guitar. Now at 49 years old I have picked up a couple of older used organs for my daughter and I to learn to play. I guess picking up 3 organs in less than 6 months means I am collecting them lol. It's turning into a hobby fixing and restoring them.

Organs especially the Hammond B-3 has been used in a lot of great rock and jazz music.

If anyone remembers what the name of the store or especially what brand of organs they sold it would be greatly appreciated.
Any other info like what years they were there etc. would be a great help.

The store you speak of is Scotti Music. They are now called Music & Arts Center and are located on Rte. 114 in Peabody in the same strip mall as TJ Maxx, Burlington Coat Factory, etc. You can get their phone number in the yellow pages under Music & Arts Center. I can't post this number here. They are still in business.
