It amazes me that a child can be charged with arson one day and back in school the next. There are still fires being set and these kids are walking free to do as they please. Where is the justice in this? Enslow middle school is full of arsonist. We need to lock these kids up, school is not the place for them.

I would imagine this post started because of the fire being set on 8th ave and 4th st for the fourth time this year. Should throw those motherphaqrs in the fire!!!

Is it burning now. I was trying to get through there about 30 minutes ago and that was the area blocked off. This is a shame. This endangers everyone around.

these kids are made to go back to school because it is a law. Whether they are taken from their homes and placed in foster care or in a group home, they will attend public school. Maybe that is the problem, these schools have too many "alternate" children being funneled into school that we are all just sending our good kids to an alternative school.

The fire today was a coincidence. I heard that the main fire starter was back in school the next day. Although the 17 yr old is locked up what about the ones who are younger. We see on tv all the time that these things start in childhood and why aren't the parents of these kids being held responsible?

Arsonists generally evolve into more violent offenders./trufax

Spoken like a true american lock that kid up and throw away the key instead of getting the CHILD help.

How do you guys know for sure they aren't locked up? I am curious because I know they were still locked up a day or two after it happened.

My kids, and presumably the OP's kids were not out setting houses on fire all over the west end.

It's either restarted or set back on fire again.
