No it's a matter of being Christian. If one claims to be Christian, they need to be worshiping Christ, no some false idol(prophet). Seems to me you need to open a dictionary. And look up the word. Look at their name, the church of Jesus Christ and latter day saints. WTF they couldn't just leave it the church of JC? No! They had to copy some other name and add to it. And call the book of Mormon another testament of Christ, when the bible says there is no other text? A bible momos swear is the word of God? WTF, open you eyes and see that this whole Mormon thing stinks, stinks, cause it's rotten and false, to it's core. So go ahead and worship their prophet, which is false, thinking that your saved to one of three??? Levels of heaven? WTF? Christian my azz.
You need to come to a specific reality of your own logic. There are over 10,000 different types religion falling under the terminology "Christian". Each of those supposed "Christian" off shoots believes they know the truth concerning God and Jesus and all others fall short of being correct, even if they to call themselves "Christians".
Now why don't you do us both a favor to come to an answer concerning your own logic. Open up a dictionary, read the definition of Christianity and tell me which Christian religion is specified as being that definition. Oh that's right, it won't state any one type religion professing to be a Christian religion is the correct Christian religion.
It's a matter of personal opinion, nothing more.

You've become such a bore. To bad you seem not to remember how to have an actual debate any more. I note in other threads with other posters you have seemingly lost the ability to debate anyone to any intelligent degree.
Such a waste to trade such intellect for childish rants. Oh well...to each their own :)
Why do Mormons call themselves Christians? When you all follow a false prophet? Shouldn't you be worshiping Christ?
We do worship Christ, and follow a prophet. You can do both at the same time.

You call it "Christ," but it's nothing like the "Christ" that traditional Christians worship. Also your "profits" leave much to be desired. For being "profits" they really don't seem to have any more special connection to the divine than anyone else. They just seem to be more smartly dressed and command special perks and privileges - not unlike any other run-of-the-mill business executive.

There's nothing supernatural about your organization. It's just any other business that's selling something totally intangible, unknowable, and unprovable. Think the Psychic Friends Network

I'm OK with that. Traditional Christians aren't the experts on everything.

So you're saying you disagree with tenets of the LDS faith... wow, we're so not used to opposition. To have someone outside my religion malign my beliefs is absolutely unheard-of! What nerve!

Seriously, that's why America is such a great place. I can believe in "profits" and you don't have to.:)

You missed the point and like most Mormons just keep flapping away. I asked a question you don't want to answer, that's ok.

...and you missed my answer to your question.
Anyone can call themselves a Christian. There is no one single definition to be a Christian and you don't seem to understand that. You can be a Christian by just saying you believe in Jesus but, have never been part of a religion all your life.
See, You can believe in Jesus to be a Christian while entertaining other figures as inspirational. There are Christians that center their beliefs on John the Baptist. There are Christians that center their beliefs on Luther (Luthern church). There are Christians that center their beliefs on John Wesley and John Calvin. There are Christians that center their beliefs on Peter. There are Christians that center their beliefs on the 7th day. There are Christians that center their beliefs on the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit, etc, etc.
Yet you find fault with Christians that center their beliefs on the teachings of apostles and prophets? Me thinks you don't understand what a Christian isn't, not what a Christian is :)

Let's get one thing straight, you don't have the foggiest notion of what it means to follow Christ, as you have proven repeatedly in this one thread. Job well done :)

God is not in your temple wrote:
GOD DOES NOT DWELL IN TEMPLES MADE WITH HANDS!
Acts 7:48-51 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, 49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? 50 Hath not my hand made all these things?
the scripture you quoted is talking about idols. If you need clarification read Malachi 3:1- "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple"
