It is a good thing they did shutting this operation down, putting the humane society wharehouse in new albany? i hope that they do a better job of adopting out animals than the shelter does. all of my dogs came from breeders, not because it is right, but because the shelter wants more information and credit that it takes to buy a home. seriously. i understand that they want to insure that the pets get forever homes, and such, but just because you missed a vet visit a time or two doesnt mean that killing the animals is a better option than adopting them out. it is like pulling teeth. very painful. hope it works out and all those beautiful little doggies are adopted out.

I just hope the ones being sent to Kentucky Humane Society does not get put to sleep. They cannot take care of the ones they have now. Or so I heard anyway.

1 The dogs at the shelters are mostly mixed breeds. They will be put down to make room for the purebreds that will sell. That is my opinion. Why do you think that those places all want to supposidly help by taken in these poor doggies. Wasn't this whole thing about tax evasion? From what I seen those dogs looked in good condition. Does the government typically take all your assests, let another group have them to sell. Aren't people suppose to be innocent until proven guilty? If they were proven innocent they would have lost everything for no good reason. What if it was your posentions that were taken by the gov. before you were proven guilty. I think all of the money that is gotten from selling the dogs should go to paying the back taxes, for the reason they were taken. The, as they said, the law abiding tax payers are getting jipped again. How is someone suppose to pay back taxes when there way of making money to pay taxes is taken by the government. Is this all void of due process. People wake up. This is our rights of life, liberty and property being given away without a fight. |

what your saying makes little sense. do you honestly think that they could care for all of these dogs the proper way, if you had read the article you would see that they said some had five dogs per cage, and were in poor shape. and as for tax evasion, that means that they were running an "obviously" profitable business without paying uncle sam his portion, doesnt everyone who runs a business have to pay taxes? im thinking that if they had enough money to care for two hundred plus doggies, then they surely had enough to pay taxes. and if you think about it...if they paid them from the get go, they wouldnt owe back taxes. business are shut down daily for this very reason. the law is the law, for some it works, for others, not so much. these dogs were for breeding and monitary purposes only, two hundred, seriously, maybe now they can have a shot at a decent life. truely sickening. |

What about the dead dog they found? Bottom line is they were breeding them way too much. Even a blind dog for heavens sake. They have no business running aa business like that if they cannot pay taxes or at least try to get a payment plan set up with the IRS. They cared more about the money, thats why. Plus they were selling them cheaper than another breeder would have, so that tells a story by itself. Money Money Money...
