dr. engitio of deafuniak spring dies of black mold

I dont know if anyone know how this dr died but it is a sin how he died . He was my Dr and we talk like we knew each other for a long time and he was a wounderful person. And he died by staying at the hospital till his house was ready and got black mold in his lungs from one of the hospital rooms he was staying in . He stayed there for two month and died from this . How sick is that i will never go to that hospital again or my family.IN MEMORY OF DR. ROBERT EGIDIO

That is so sad. I just received word yesterday and was so saddened. I just met him recently as my attending physician. He was so caring and personable. What a loss.

Check off another drug pusher thing are getting better every day.

His name was Dr. Egidio and he did indead get mold from the local hospital. He had been sleeping there since March. The state has closed some parts of the hospital. It ia a shame because because he was a VERY smart doctor.

Instead of a drug pusher if he was bumming off the hospital he must have been a drug user.

He was not bumming off the hospital. He was waiting for his house to be built. It is commom practice for the hospital to offer room while new doctors find adaquate housing, which we all know rental is very scarce here in DeFuniak. And, he was not a drug pusher. The facility does not offer controlled drugs anymore.

Of course he was a drug pusher Dr. stand for legalize drug pusher. They need to be put against a wall with lawyers & preachers and shot.

You didnt know him that easy to see cause if you did you wouldnt dare to speak of him that way ! It makes me sick people like you that think bad of people you dont even know this man wouldnt even give out pain killers he didnt beleive in them him self . He was the only Dr. that took care of me and found my heart problems if it wasnt for him i dont know were I would be . All i can say to you is i hope god forgives jerks, and ill say a prayer for you cause you need it .

Thank you for making your comments its good to know that he is missed and was cared for ,not only by me but others. He was a great loss to this town , this town has never seen a Dr like him and never will again. I hate jerks like that person that said he was a drug pusher . he was anything but that that person has some real problems of there own.

Oh he was a doctor who didn't prescribe drugs. I have heart problems so how do you take care of it without drugs. Been a long time since I have seen an honest doctor. They're all about the money or was he a free Dr.

Yes he did give me things like blood pressure pillsand meds for my diabetes and for my sinus problems. But not "pain killers". I was just like you i didnt trust any Dr.s I'v seens so many jerks and Dr.s that made me feel like a number not a person with real issues.It took me 3 yrs to find him and he really cared.So im sorry you had such a bad time with DRs but so did i. And he was one in a million, thats why im taking the time to write this about him .

To lucy, I know about the closing of the hospital i was the one who called the heath inspector in tallahasse and had a investigation stared on the hospital. Thats why i started this discussion and others. I didnt want him to pass without people knowing him.

A drug is a drug.

So you say a drug is a drug , how is that when it might be saving my life. A drug is loratab or percacet thats what people abuse you have to be really stupid not to understand that. Are you telling me you have heart problems and dont take anything for it cause what your saying is you dont .And if you do your full of::::!Anyway i dont have time to mess with a person that has there own mental issues . You don't know anything about drugs do you. If it alters any part of your system it is a drug. That is mental, spiritual, or physical.

Kudos to you,DDC, for calling the state. If people only knew some of the things that they get away with out there!!

I know Dr E, and he did not die from anything in the hospital. He was staying in the hospital until he got a house for his family and himself. He was a great doctor, he cared for his patients and they all loved him from what i know.

I do want you all to know that he did look at this website often to find out what people said about the hospital and the people who worked there. He would be thrilled to know that he is the topic of conversation and by name instead of everyone else at the hospital who just gets a vague description-he once told me that there weren't any rumors about him.

All of his friends, co-workers, and patients miss him dearly, they certainly broke the mold when they made him, he was one of a kind.

Just a good start a big need to execute more drug pushers.
