How much money would the city make if BBW wasn't here this weekend? I'm sure someone has estimated this. The NAACP 'bullies' have too much power over local leaders everywhere. I wish they would focus on the behavioral problems, instead of threatening people who just want to make a good living.

I like bikes and own a bike i dont like rude bikers! Maybe Obama salama is representing all them on election day if he wins it will be like this all the time...they steal food form the restuarants clothing from the stores because they know the police have a slow reaction time...then the restaurant owners are sued if they close!! where is AMERICA the BRAVE??
Run them ALL outof town so we can have our twon back...call out the National Guard the police are overworked...they should send the cleanup bill to the naacp and their ministers...my minister has never acted like that..i guess its a different brand of religion.....I'm baptist not muslim... SEND em HOME!! no more bike weeks.... By the way it's MEMORIAL DAY Weekend //not black bike week |

fuwmf-- Why dont you write your feelings AFTER you spend your weekend in Atlantic Beach. Nice screen name too! Who's racist? Me? You?
I WILL close my business-- too many shoplifters and petty thieves this weekend. I lost "0.00" dollars during Harley week...over 4500.00 last Memorial " BikeFest" weekend of 2007 Bring it NAACP!! |
don't come here then..we don't want more trash showing up! how would you like it if i came to your town used your sidewalks like a bathroom, stole everything in sight, and vandalized what i couldn't steal? all at a cost to the taxpayers in your town? bet you would love that.. i have never taken a dump on a sidewalk and don't plan to, if you think me wanting my city to be a nice place to live is racism, so be it... the citizens of Myrtle Beach will not be bothered one bit if you and your loser black and white trash friends don't come here and wreck our town!! |
|
I get what you are saying but I can't believe that you are really offended by those words. You seem a little too sensitive. "Those people" is referring to the people who are coming to MB and acting crazy. "Thuggish" also refers to these fools and "Black people"???? Are you kidding me!!?? You can call me a white person (although I am working on my tan) Whatever. I don't care. |

I dread this weekend and it use to be a weekend that families came here to start the summer and have fun. If they want to have a set aside time for a bike week- then let them pick a time that is not a holiday weekend. If you notice no families dare come when this is going on. The business's and restaurants do not want to be open because of shoplifting and trashing the places and eating and not paying for their food. Then if you have children you certainly don't want them to see how the women dress riding the bikes and walking the streets. Last year there were many wearing fishnet bodysuits and nothing underneath. They don't care if they weigh 500 lbs either. If this is ABBW - then put their vendors there and the entertainment there and let them clean the mess up they leave. Why should the Convention Center and Mall area be used and our tax money go to help clean up their mess? It is time to say no to this. This year we intend to carry our video camera and camera and send the photos to all news stations nationally - so they can see what the people of MB and Horry County have to deal with each year. Then let's see how proud our city officials are for allowing this mess to continue year after year. Everyone get your cameras in your cars and start taking pictures! We can help to put a stop to this! We were on the blvd yesterday and they had 8 bikes parked in one spot at a meter. This means they are getting 7 parking spaces free. I think at business they should not let them congregate in their parking lots - people will not shop at your buisness's with this mess in your parking lots. We pay taxes to live here and we should have a voice in whether this is allowed to continue or not. It is time for people to stand up and say "WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH" it needs to stop. Can you imagine going to any other town and letting people dress and act like they do here?

As Atlantic Beach slowly kills itself, hopefully this festival will begin to dwindle. Once those few little blocks are absorbed by either NMB or MB then maybe we will see an end to this entire bike festival.

Amen TMBB!!

Maybe you should try the poison.

You know what, I think they should throw the so called "atlantic Beach " bikers out of town completely, Atlantic Beach will soon be a distant memory, they can not even elect a honest person to run the trashed town, so why should the taxpayers pay to clen up something that is completly dreaded each year. And could someone please post the800 number for the NAACp - so they can cry about unfair treatment, I spent time @ the harley week, and didnt see anyone showing their cookies on the main street and being a discusting pig like most of the attendees!!! Fat girls cover your FLAB!!!!!!!!!! |

Do what I,m doing this weekend. Go to Hilton Head.

Danny,
There were more pictures of naked ladies (tops and bottoms missing) in the paper from last week than I ever saw durring BBW. If you don't like black people, just say it. Don't hide behind your bogus "moral values" |

What's up with all the Black Bikers having Alias's? Is that the new thing to do now? All of you take a look at the BIKEFEST pictures on the homepage. Every black biker has an alias, I bet just one of them was standing with their friends and one said so the rest just made something up real quick. The would never follow the crowd though.

I agree that the NAACP is rediculous. They are just looking to play the race card and sue somebody. Problem is, the bikers have the right to come here just like you and I have the right (and choice) to stay or leave this week. I have a real problem with people who leave this week. If you are a local stay local. This is your town. Don't be run off by people who don't live here and treat the city like crap. |
|
|
Where's the locals hotline number to be called when witnessing all the public nudity, traffic rudeness, drinking etccc how come we don't get to report that racism or why I have to explain to my 8 yr old daughter what she just saw, which I didn't have to do during harley week.

I work at a resort in NMB and anyone who calls for this weekend I am sure to explain there is a bike festival going on and it does create alot of traffic and noise, that they may want to plan to come another time. I know there are plenty of resorts who don't warn people and they are mad when they pay good money to come and can't do anything or drive anywhere.

Its like we are being held prisoner in our own city, Unlike the Harley week, families could enjoy and felt welcome to look and enjoy the motorcycles. |

They're all alike when you put them in a crowd.

You know what why dont you post your address here, so we can all come and take a crap on your front yard, have sex on your car and scare your children. Thats what this week is all about if you dont want to be here then LEAVE, we wont miss you |
