A fatal car accident that occurred around 6:30 p.m. Thursday night claimed the life of Joshua Fratus, 15, of Danby, a sophomore at Burr and Burton Academy.

This is such a tragedy. I did not know either of the kids personally, but the loss is definitely felt immensely at BBA. So many people loved Josh. I wish the best to his family and friends and I'll keep praying for Kirsten.
