SISD superintendent resigns

When did this happen?

Kind of unusual he resigned in February stating his family was being harassed but as of May, his family still works and attends school in Sealy. Hmmmmmm?

He couldnt of picked a better school district. GO WILDCATS

Yep, Thomas Price is here, and screwing up our district now. This man needs to go, and should've never been hired.

I don't know why you have a problem with Mrs. Morris, she's the best superintendent that Sealy has had in a long time. If you would stop complaining about everything long enough to open your eyes, you would see that. It's not just about you and your kid.

Here couple reasons:

Did they (Selman Intermediate School Principal) lunge at your wife or (Selman Intermediate School Asst-Principal) slap your wife’s hand(s)? I don’t think so!

Our son is Down syndrome and a 5th grade student at Selman Intermediate School. Also, he is in special education and several inclusion classes there. The inclusion classes are music, physical ed. and social studies. These inclusion classes have given our son a chance to be with his peers.

During the open house and a parent/teacher conference at Selman Intermediate School. The 5th grade class was going have music concert in December, the DARE Program, and how to use the recorder. Later at an observation meeting with our son's life skills teacher. My wife asked if our son can participate in the DARE Program at the school. The SISD police officer said that the DARE Program was open to all 5th grade students. That he would love our son participate in this Program. So why did asst-principal at Selman Intermediate School say NO?

My wife asked during an October 31, 2007 parent/teacher conference with the 5th grade music teacher if our son could participate in the upcoming 5th grade music class concert. Her answer was our son can't sing and that he could be a distraction to the class and the audience. My wife asked what do mean. Her reply was you know how children are cruel. That they would says hurt full things to him. Why is our son being pre-judge? This was all caught on audio-tape.
I don't know that it is a pre-requisition for a 5th grade student to know how to sing?

Our believe is that every children should be given a chance regards of his/her disability, age, sex, national origin, and color

Superintendent of Sealy ISD resigns

Sealy Newspaper, dated 7/1& 3/2009: Pamela (SISD Superintendent has been named the lone final is for the position of superintendent of Lancaster ISD.

Eye of Sealy, dated 8/15/2007:
"She has to be mindful of not letting her position go to her, SISD is just a stepping stone for her anyway. She will pad the resume and jump the first time a larger district comes caling.
