The NYRA wants a guarantee from OTB, yet allows online betting via NYRA.COM . That doesn't seem right. Who needs OTB when you can wager online? it appears OTB has been replaced by the internet and phone wagering. Sorry for the people working there, but there really is no good reason to subsidize this.

Give us poor mobsters another foothold back into NYC!

Keep raising the tax on cigs, we love that too. Bootleg cigs are our specialty!

Too bad OTB has to close down in New York City. I'm sure all those political patronage phonies like Joseph Mondello at Nassau Downs in the 90's will now have to go back to "work" licking envelopes!
