Another stupid jury, just like the OJ jury in Los Angeles.

I am happy they are going to retry the case, again and again if necessary until there is a jury with some common sense.

Fortunately, during retrials prosecutes learn from any mistakes they made and quite often get a conviction.

Hope you're right, Dan, although the cost to us taxpayers does nothing but escalate. What I don't get is how ANYONE can question whether these two gangbangers did it AFTER THEY TURNED THEMSELVES IN TO POLICE! Then, witnesses change their stories right and left OUT OF FEAR OF RETALIATION BY THE SUSPECTS AND THEIR GANGBANGING FAMILIES! Once more this proves Lopez and Guerra DID IT. Are these murderers free now, until the 21st? If they are, I bet their trashy tatted-up relatives will have a big party for them at the local public park, complete with tacky mylar balloons and really crappy Mexican food.

Wow amazing! It sounds like there was not enough evidence and Dejohn could not get it right. These two guys are more than likely innocent and they just wanted to pin this on someone. If these guys were guilty, they would have gone down.It does sound like misidentification. Deandre Rest in Peace, God Bless the Netter family and especially the Guerra and Lopez Family.

Thank you Georgina for being the only one who has any common sense. The Netter boys caused so much trouble in Temple City there are quite a few people that could have done this. And thank God Rita of Sunland, obviously a racist, was dismissed from the jury as she stated in a previous blog. It's people like her that put innocent people behind bars. I'm sure her relatives are Native American Indians.

It really sounds like these two guys have been wrongly accused. These guy turned themselves in, and that is what law abiding citizens due, and it does not mean that they are guilty. Rita, this is not about race, and I too love Mexican food and some of my best friend are Mexican and I would Never call them gangbangers because of their race.

It is truly sad for all the families involved.

I'll presume it's due to ignorance that you make these claims. I'll also presume that were you aware of the facts, you'd know they are guilty. I'll think the best of you I can...

Foreman, I believe you are the ignorant one. The paper says the witness could not identify anyone, and by the way, you mentioned you were afraid of retaliation. Who exactly do you mean? The victims family or the family of the victims on trial? Are you also a racist? You need to do some real soul searching. I will pray for you.

May God Bless You!!

I wouldn't doubt it if they are innocent, our judicial system is so corrupt. I know someone who was involved in a murder and is out on the streets as we speak. The prosecutors even had DNA evidence but kept it from the jury. Hummm! Why would they do that???? Because they choose who they want to send to prison. I know I have the DNA report in my possession. Public defenders make deals with the prosecutors, judges are in on it too. I witnessed it all first hand. I could never be a juror because i know they can hold back exculpatory evidence from the jury. In the case i am talking about the prosecutors chose to keep the DNA from the jury and the judge agreed to it. Corruption all around!!!!!!

Call me "racist" if you want-- it's no skin off my nose-job. But y'know, sometimes I feel compelled to whip up a few tasteless remarks in order to counterbalance this INSANE, weak, pointless, P.C. point-of-view that continues to brainwash people like that half-wit from Encino. Leftist propoganda has infected the media like AIDS at an anal orgy and provides a "well-intended" conduit for gang crime to flourish. At least the cops in Temple City had the balls to designate this murder a hate crime. Bratton is so beholden to Villaragosa, he wouldn't DARE brand the Jamiel Shaw II murder a hate crime, which is clearly was. Once on ch.35 cable access I heard Bratton say, "We (meaning LAPD) don't want to destroy the gangs-- we want to work WITH the gangs..." Huh?? Why NOT destroy the gangs? Well, that would be compromising their rich, cultural heritage. Illegal aliens have an even sweeter deal; they're a protected class entirely. L.A. is another sanctuary city and Bratton is deathly afraid of being called a racist. This is why he embraces special order 40. This is why he rolled over and made sure all those illegal alien thugs got paid off for that "May-Day Melee" debacle. I increasingly resent how law-abiding citizens are put in harms way and must even fear retaliation from criminals on trial, like Lopez and Guerra and their cholo relations because OUR GOVERMENT AND LAW ENFORCEMENT DON'T WANT TO PISS OFF LA RAZA,MALDEF,AND MEXICO. I'm sick of it. Good and sick of it. So just lemme know when I can stop "Celebrating Diversity," okay?

Scorpio

You're feeling conciliatory and compassionate today, and you're ready to bury the hatchet if you've been at odds with someone recently. You may have to make the first move, and risk getting a brush off, but you'll consider that a small price to pay if it means you're able to restore the peace. The relief you feel will tell you how much this has been preying on your mind.
