This is amazing! It seems from any media's point of view the "African-Americans" are starting all the fights and the Latino's are victims. To single out Willie, is another example of the media assassinating another “Black Man”! If you know the structure at Muir High, then you know it’s twice as many Latino’s than there are “African-Americans”! I know people think “African-Americans” are dumb, but they surely wouldn’t start a riot being out numbered! What’s really puzzling to me is, when it’s a crime against “African-Americans” involving large numbers the media never report it as a “Hate Crime” for example; “African-Americans” were being shot at on all the free ways through out the Los Angeles area by Latino’s and it was never properly reported by the media. The media made it seems as if it were random act’s, but the “African-American” community knew what the deal was and it’s becoming clear that we’re being ganged up on at all levels! I have another example; in Pasadena a couple of years ago the “Villa Boys”(Which is a Latino gang) were beating up “African-American” males (any age) in and around Orangegrove and Raymond area and it was never reported as “Hate Crimes”! We “African-Americans” get the picture and know one scared!

The crimes of which you speak about regarding "villa boys" involved GANGS specifically. Educate yourself a little before you speak. Villa boys were fighting against PDL which is an african american gang. They were not going around attacking random african americans as are the crimes being executed by these young african americans now.
The men being attacked in the streets were
mostly older immigrants coming home from work. My question is this: Why are these young men out in the streets anyhow?? Where are their parents? My child would not be caught out at that time of day attacking ANYONE! And if he did attack anyone, I would NOT be ignorant enough to attempt to justify his crime!

I would like to add that the latino students were also gang affiliated which you failed too add, and the event started with the latino girls and spread throught out the whole school. Its funny to see how this wack ass news paper exploits pasadena students, just because you guys have nothing else to write about.

First of all this type hatred has been steadily escalating for years now, starting with latino gang members attacking young non-gang affiliated blacks in the street and at that point did the black gangs get involved, this is a trend happing all over southern california simply because latinos outnumber everyone they attempt to enforce their will on the community. This could have been stopped by Pasadena PD, as well as Altadena Sheriff but they chose to do nothing, and now you see the outcome. I went to Muir in the 90's and nothing like this would have ever went down, but the city has changed and not for the better, this needs to be resolved before it gets even worse, and the Star News is just as much too blame for only reporting one side, cause they too have turned a blind eye to the problems in the community. This is why I've moved my sons out of Pasadena, to community where you have more unity within the community. Everyone be safe and have a BLESSED NEW YEAR
