A typical bureaucrat, making excuses and crying the blues when some of the fat and perks get cut in difficult times. Real fancy words 'educational unethical' that really don't mean much coming from some stuffed shirt with all kinds of advanced degrees, and little common sense. That so called educator fool, doesn't have a clue, that it is 'unethical' to waste the tax payers money.

The school should also get rid of goof off students, who are not serious about getting an education. I am talking about the ones who have been there a long time, change their study field often, sign up for and then drop numerous classes, and keep a poor grade average.

When I took math classes at PCC, I was always astonished at the high drop- out rate in math classes, such as Intermediate Algebra or Calculus 5B. The class would start out with 35 students and maybe 10 students would finish. Accounting 1A had a similar drop-out rate. If fees go up to $60 a unit, then maybe students won't enroll in classes unless they really plan to put in their best efforts to finish the class.

The reason is very simple, its basically free and a lot of high school drop outs go to the community college without the ambition or ability to do college work. They end up dropping out real fast.

In college, students don't get passed along as in high school.
