Sorry to burst your bubble...but the traffic "reduction" will be nill. Has there been any "traffic reduction" on the 101 through Hollywood (Red Line), 110 through South LA (Blue Line), South Bay (Green Line), etc...
What mass transit does it allows for alternatives and density development. Stuff that I love. It's funny how people say there will be "less traffic"..it never happens. Speeds on the 101 increased by 1 mph after the Orange Line opened. Now...back to 0 mph increase. People want to think "others will ride, so that the road is free for me". Wrong. |
