One more suspect irrevocably rehabilitated and will no longer be a law enforcement problem, or a burden on taxpayers. Nice goin' guys.

This guy was having problems, he was young with a dumb girlfriend. Covina just sucks in every way, i know the cops "try", but the last couple of months its just been getting busy out there. It also has to do with the neighborhood- people just lock they're doors like if the problems are going to just go away. You want a good clean neighborhood, people need to step up!

Give me a break! 15 rounds shot at an unarmed suspect!? I knew this man. He served our country in the military and he was not a thug! This alley was like a battle zone. I hope our officers are cleaning up their story, so they can go out and do this again....maybe to one of our sons, brothers, or husbands.

all of you people talking bad about this man and you dont even know him. He was a good friend of mine and he may not be a hero but he was a good perswon with a good heart and did not deserve this. this isnt justice this was murder 15 shots when he was already out of the car and shot. So you who think thats justice and a permeanent rehabilitation and are worried about your tax money are just pathetic think about this kids family. you guys are the problem becoming blind and closed eyed to the real problem that we neede to help each other and not be so selfish!!! Jim, Geez, Jammer you guys disgust me get your facts right before you open your mouth!!!

Well your "military" man should have not been running from the cops. I hate when people like you bring up there passed military histoty. I'm not saying he should have died but he had what was coming towards him when he ran.

No unarmed person gets what is coming to him when
5 cops are firing 15 rounds at them. So he had a bad night and was scared..."Judge not lest ye be judged ". Brandon is right. He was a good person with a good heart and did not deserve to have his life cut short.

Jammer, geez, Jim, covina hell I knew this MAN and his girlfriend and it just made me sick that any HUMAN being could say those horrible things about another human being without knowing him, who if you ever needed anything he would help you, he built thing with his two hands, and enjoyed water skiing he was not a murderer but HE WAS MURDERED. Hopefully YOU ALL never make a mistake in your lives that will cause you to be murdered and then have people talk about how happy THAT YOU WERE KILLED. You all should be ashamed of you yourselves maybe your parents should have instilled in you some compassion, it is people like you that make this world an cold and unfeeling place.

Why did he run? Was the car he was driving stolen like they say? If it was and he was a good guy he should not have been in a stolen car. No one deserves to get shot that many times but it happens to the good and the bad. If he was not doing wrong he should have just pulled over. When something like this happens all people have judgement the one's who knew them and the one's that don't. If we as people keep feeding into the negetive feeling of others it will only make the one's that lost this person in their life feel worse and angry and the one's that did not know him feel good that they are able to make your day bad. It is going to be a long hot summer with the cops beating and shooting everone they think are up to no good. All you see on the news is how they are shooting or kicking the shit out of someone lately. It makes you wonder what are they really telling them in training class. Humm just a thought!

It is unfortunate that this individual had to die in this matter. But my car was recently stolen from my driveway. A man & women where involved, I seen them take my car. Gee I wonder who it was? He's being doing this for awhile, it wasn't a one time thing. Do not blame someone else for his mistakes. Sometimes you don't know someone like you think you do! Oh and because of my car being stolen, my children are so scared that this person is going to come back. Now explain that situation to a 9 year old boy! If you've never been in law enforcement or connected to someone that puts their life on their line everyday, shame on you to think you know what they go through when they are on the job!!!!

No one knows why he was in a stolen car or what all happened that night. He was a nice looking,
lovely person that fell into a dark place in the last 6 months. He did a lot of good for many people in his 25 years. I am devastated as I know his family and his many friends are. Pease, lets all pray for him and his family. I couldn't believe that they left his body there without even covering him.....No respect at all. Why has his name still not been released?

Isn't it strange that the 3 recent shootings coincide with the release of Grand Theft Auto IV?

give me a break what you should teach your 9 yr old is that everyone should be happy that no one was hurt when your car was stolem and that a car is just an object with no feelings and no family and that he should have compasion when another human being who made a mistake is murdered.

Another "nice, decent, kind, loving, ect" innocent person who "feel into a dark place in the last six months". This creep was a thief. Avoiding capture, traveling at high speed on city streets endangering truly innocent people. Even the police can't understand why this worthless piece of trash ran from them. Have compassion? Why? By shear luck he didn't kill someone. The only injustice will be if his family hits the lawsuit lottery after retaining some low-life attorney. His family should be made to pay for the cost of the bullets and the clean-up.

I too knew this man. I dint know him to do any of what happened that night. But what I did know was that he was a genuinely great person with a big heart. I could really careless what every ones opinion on the matter. What I can do is pray for the people who were hurt by this incident and that this sort of thing does not happen to any one again!

s*** talkers don't know nothing about this man. He was cool as hell... he fell in some hard sometimes, everyone deals with problems different ways.
And 15 bullets as he was getting out of the car and didn't have nothing in his hands, no way. one warning shot and he would of snapped out of it- but the cops didn't even try.
