I don't really like it. But in reality, the gay community exemplifies what marriage really is. But it's between two couples of the same sex. They show compassion towards their partner, delightful of planning to get married, and they deserve it. What about the heterosexual community? This community no longer desires to get married. You cohabitate. You live together, call your spouse your wife or husband, but where's the ring? The gay community really helps each partner out, in terms, of health insurance coverage, life insurance policy, and they work things together. You very seldom see a heterosexual couple having a ring, supports their spouse, and include them in their health insurance. The children do get confused when they see a different man in their mother's life. I'm not here to criticque thier choices. They are examples of the meaning of love.

Thank you Pastor Bill Ankerberg you said what I have been saying all along "Why bother having people vote?" This court ruling is so disturbing to me that I will no longer vote in this country, I do not see any reason to vote any more when someone does not like the turn out it just goes to court and some judge make the final decision, so then why waste the tax payers money on an election JUST SENT IT STRAIGHT TO THE COURTS. I'm discussed with this countries voting system any how I cant help but feel it has been rigged for years, the people do not even vote in a President any more some Electoral College does that for us. We the people no longer have a say so in this country. I feel maybe we need to make a ballot measure that states "When the people vote, That is LAW. Stop letting some judge overturn the people decisions.

I do not have anything against them getting married I have a issue with our courts having way too much power.

James - The "Electoral College" has been in existence as long as the Constitution...
But, I agree with the point on the courts/government having too much power. The ever present "Nanny State".
Also agree with the point you made about voting and the court overturning the will of the people. What's the point in voting?
Ray - I don't know, my wife and I "Co-Habitated" for 5 years before we got married. I couldn't add her to my insurance policy without getting married. We each have a ring...

Why bother having people vote? The same could be said about medical marijuana. The people of California approved medical marijuana and then the fed ingored it and continues to harrass medical marijuana users. Ralph Nader said, Our governmnet is corporate fascism with a very thin veneer or facade of democracy.
