How many more people need to get hurt on Route 25 at the intersection of Route 153,before looking into it as a problem? Having lived in Effingham just about all my life i believe that the "S " turn leading out to 25 and VERY poor signage leads to these unfortunate accidents. There should be signs starting on the Freedom side alerting motorists that they need to stop ahead as after coming out of the s turns the flashing light is right there and for a person unfamiliar with the area it can be deadly as we all know. Also the continuation of the Mountain road is also misleading for motorists from afar.

I have been through that intersection dozens of times. I have a house off of Ossipee lake rd so I go through that intersection many times a week. I cannot see why the signage needs to be any better and more importantly why it would make any difference. It makes no sense that intersection could or should be any problem. The sight lines are extremely good and very far. The stop light is very clear and very good attention grabber. You cannot stop all accidents but clearly these accidents are caused by driver inattention and there is nothing that will fix that.

It is hard to believe that a 17-year-old boy from Tuftonboro didn't know that intersection. How would signage make a difference?

Daily Horoscope for November 27

Taurus

If you wake up early this morning after a strange sexual dream, don't worry. It's just Pluto digging deep into your psyche and it doesn't mean you are perverted. Dreams about sex are almost always about something other than the carnal desires; the language of the sleeping mind is almost entirely symbolic. You are normal, so carry on in good faith.
