I am college student looking for summer employment in Stanley, Noth Dakota. Any leads on where to look/apply?

There aren't a whole lot of businesses in the area and you'll be competing with the local kids for anything seasonal. Your best bet would be to try at the Nursing Home. Also call the newspaper office and ask them to fax you a copy of the help wanted ads - the paper there, last time I lived there, only came out once a week. Good luck with the job hunt.

i am looking fo place to rent in stanley or in the 30 to 40 mile area near stanley. i will be working for a company out that way and need something right away.

Matt - you shouldn't have any problems finding a place. That whole area has been through booms and busts over the years and there is housing to spare - or at least there was until this latest oil influx. I haven't been back in a few years. There is a trailer park in Stanley. When I was there it was owned by a guy that also owned Will Lumber by the Piggly Wiggly. There are a ton of little towns around there. To the south is New Town and to the west is Tioga. I'd start with the Stanley newspaper. They can fax you the listings for rentals and also give suggestions for where to try. Have you considered getting a travel trailer and renting a spot? There is a camper park on the north side of Stanley by the golf course. Oh, and the Chamber of Commerce would be a great place to start too. Hope this helps.

Stay away from stanley, ND. They are a cruel people there. They treat outsiders like crap. They think they can rake in the money without having to change. Just ask some of the Natives south of stanley. They have been treated poorly for many years, and they are suppose to be neighbors. Preachers in this area are afraid to loose there job, if they tell the residents in stanley, that they are wrong in how they treat people. Go to kenmare or tioga. They are much more pleasant and receptive.

i work as a PC Desktop Technician presently and have for 12 years. I would consider relocating to Stanley if the pay would ne worth the move. Any new on IT jobs there?

try job service. therirs lots of truck driving jobs and the casino south of stanly 30 miles, and oil rig jobs cenex gas station is looking for workers

Well Im sure most of the locals men in Stanley dont like the oil workers because there wives like Breeann Dralle are sleeping with married oil rig workers!!! Doesn't say much for the woman in Stanley or the male oil rig workers!!! Woman if your men work in the oil rigs make sure you keep your husbands away from Breeann Dralle!!! She has slept with multiple marriend oil rig workers, trying to break up families!

you all have to remember everyone is an individual and make their own choices. Breeann has made hers to sleep with whomever she feels she wants to not taking into consideration the wives of her partner at that time. She has however chosen to mess up her life with her children and husband or ex-husband. the men on the other hand have also made that choice. It is not Breeanns fault for the men making the choice to sleep with her. Breeann was this way before the rigers went to stanley and the men were that way before they went to Stanley. So because they have all found eachother and there are many of them there it didnt just happen because of Breeann. She didnt break up there marriage the men took that step and I garantee she is not the first one they have slept with nor these men are not the firsts for Breeann either. It is their personality and life they have chosen to lead. They have ruined their own lives on their own.

Real mature to trash someone on the internet. It takes two to tango and I am sure no one knows her story. Maybe the wives should take a look at themselves and wonder why there husband had to find something somewhere else. I am not saying cheating is right but why is it the other woman who always gets blamed. You don't know her story.
