THERE NEEDS TO BE A PER CAP, OR INDEPENDENT TEAM SPORTS FOR ALL AGES TO KEEP BUSY, INSTEAD OF THROWING AWAY THERE LIFE, I'VE LOST MANY RELATIVES TO SUICIDES OR GANG VIOLENCE BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING TO DO ON THE RESERVATION, TO ALL THE PARENTS OF A LOVED ONE OR ONES WE SHOULD GET TOGETHER AND PROTEST AGAINST OUR TRIBAL LEADERS TO FIND OUT WHAT WE AND THEY CAN DO FOR OUR FUTURE GENERNATION " IF WE DO HAVE A FUTURE" AND WE ASKED TO QUESTION AND ITS TIME FOR THEM TO ANSWER US..../
"ITS NOT THE PARENTS FAULT IN THE SITUATION OR MAYBE IT IS LIKE DRINKING AROUND THE KIDS AND HAVING THERE GIRL/BOY FRIENDS BREAKING UP WITH THEM AND NO PARENTS AROUND TP TALK FOR 30 MINUTES OR SO AND ALSO ABUSE IN THE HOUSE HOLD AND KIDS NEEDS TO STAND UP, FIGHT BACK AND KEEP WALKING ITS WHAT YOUR MAKE OF IT, LIKE ME OR PEOPLE AORUND ME ARE DOING THERE BEST TO RAISE A LITTLE ONE, I HAVE A 11 MONTH OLD AND I LOOK AT HIM AND SAY "I WOULDN'T DO THIS WITH OUT YOU" AND I AM NOW ATTENDING COLLEGE AT UNITED TRIBES AND MY MAJOR IS TRIBAL MANGEMENT AND YEARS TO COME WHEN I'M IN OFFICE, I'M GOING TO CLEAN UP THE ENIVORMENT AROUND US AND ANSWER THE QUESTIONS WE BEEN ASKING FOR ALL THESE YEARS "WHAT IS THERE TO DO ON THE REZ?" HOKA"

im not from sd im from tennessee there are alot of kids across the country that are hurting and are in pain...drugs are every where i cant even act like i know the hardships your people face but i think maybe in some ways might they be loosing their pride ..pride of who they are? your people are a great people.. if you have kids tell them remind them of who they ARE and tell them to hold their head up high..to be proud of their heritage encourage them to look for ways to better their people as a whole...im sure many of yuns do.. just remember this if the kids act as if they dont care or dont hear you they do and in time when they work threw their anger and learn to rise above it..it will be the voices of their elders they will remember..
my kids know their heritage mostly irish but they also know their great grandfather was native...left as a orphaned child he knew nothing of his family he resorted to alcohol wich nearly destroyed my mothers life his daughter..
alcohol and drugs kill but not just that is leaves one empty and depressed..i wish your people the best you have a proud heritage..i know life has been hard for your people and its not right..the gov even today does your people wrong..

Rest Eazy Arthur Poorbear. man on the real..we all grew up a hard life on the reservation, its not always the teenagers fault they end up like this. its everything. I could say im one of the statistics too. But im not proud to say it. I grew up watchin' moms get beat, alcohol, drugs, & gangs. U grow up around all of that and u think thats the only way u think is the right way. But i've come to realize it aint. theres more to life then the reservation. When u move away its not like ur leaving the ones u love on the rez behind but put it like this, ur not going away & forgetting about them, jus go out and make a change and COME BACk & help one another its sounds fake and all that but just think u can save a life. I jus wish i had known all the things i've known now. When someone u love passes away, its hard. It is! But live ur life they way they wanted u to live it. I just hope no one on the rez (rosebud, mission,s.f) i hope none of u decide to leave. Im not gonna judge on whoever killed themselve whut they went thru is something we cant understand. Not even if we tried. What went thru there minds is something we'll never know. I just hope there all in a better place, then whut the real world holds. Lifes tough but Tunkasila put u on this earth for a reason, So make something of urself. Do it for u not anyone else. Make urself happy & leave the rest up to everyone else. Right now im in Minnesota & not a day goes by i dont think about my crew, my family & everyone else down there. After highschool im off to the Marines. & it is whut it is. Just dont give up. 1

im going to rosebud to try to help out dont know if I can. but someone has got to try it takes everyone doing everything. taking care of small kids to helping the old. its not a race thing
its a people thing my kids and grandkids are there
they think they are black. jamin to rap wharin ther pants below there butts. being what they think is hard asses.being in a gang to represent what... there is no pride in killing or spray paint. the family is broken how do you talk to a
drunk or a meth hoe looking for there next fix
you cant even have anything because your family
and friend stell it why you are out..who do you
trust. the old ways are the right way. you are judged by your actions and ways.. not by how many
times you can beat someone up.. its not how tuff
you are.. but its how tuff you are! can you do the
right thing the right thing is the hardest thing to do. much harder then beating someone up or takein something or being a shit.. so keep your cool do the right thing. even if you are not liked
you might change you might start a change.
oh maybe pick up trash. or plant flowers. or help someone you dont know. or something anything just do it. now..

you need to get families involved. Not just the community. Find a way to bring families together to get to the issue.

Daily Horoscope for December 25

Virgo

So much love and effort. You want the day to be a big success, and it's going to be that way. You'll be very popular if you can bring some spontaneity to the day, such as springing an exciting surprise on everyone or swapping a tired old tradition for something much more interesting. You might also have an unexpected visitor at some point.
